Dr. Staci is a wonderful dentist. I've been coming here since 2021. She's a great professional, and I've always been grateful to have her as my dentist. Unfortunately, I've been having such bad experiences with the front desk staff that I've decided to find another place. I called and left a voicemail on the office phone sometime in early June (2024) regarding a new cell phone number, and I was not given a call back to confirm the update. I had been recently CANCELED ON by this place because the office was having a "maintenance/cleaning day" (according to Miranda, who was in the office that day), so I wanted to make sure the office had the correct number on file so that I can avoid repeating the humiliating experience where I show up for an appointment when it's closed. There was no reply to my voicemail, so I had to call the office AGAIN a few days later, where I spoke to and confirmed with the same ol' Miranda.

("Yes, we received your voicemail. " Okay, then why not call back to confirm? Isn't responding to voicemail basic front desk protocol?) Later that same month in June, I made an appointment in person with Miranda for a cleaning in December. She said that Dr. Staci would not be available during the later-half of December, so we chose an early December date for my next cleaning. When I arrived today for my appointment, I was greeted by Mr. Garner. Miranda, on the other hand, did not greet me and asked what my name was in a rather discourteous, curt tone. Swiftly returned the tone back, because what was with the attitude? She then proceeded to tell me that there was no record of an appointment for me today.

(??!?!?) She then goes on to state (absurdly) that my number was called to confirm my appointment but it had went directly to voicemail. I never received any calls from the office, and if, indeed, it went straight to voicemail, why didn't Miranda leave a message? Oh, most importantly: Why would Miranda call my number to confirm my appointment when she stated that there was NO RECORD of an appointment for me in the first place? (Girl is just all around incompetent, even at lying. ) Stood around for a few minutes waiting for some form of apology while she was busy "investigating" what "happened," but all I received was a dry, smug face and a "you can wait 15 minutes for our next opening. " I send all my love and respect to Dr. Staci, but the service at the front desk is just not it.

I've been going to SmileOn Dentistry for three years or so and have had zero bad experiences. Dr. Garner is polite, thorough, and wonderul. The dental assistants have also been wonderful.

I had a very disappointing experience at this dental office. My cleaning was rushed and only lasted about 15 minutes, which is far shorter than a proper cleaning should take. It felt like the hygienist didn’t take the time to do a thorough job. I expect better care and attention to detail when it comes to my dental health. I won’t be returning.
