The entire staff was just as amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and patient. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. First off, Dr. Davis gets a 5/5 – she is amazing. Unfortunately, her husband and the staff get a 2/5. I’ve worked with Dr. Davis in the past and had a wonderful experience, but I left due to her husband's greedy approach. Despite that, I continued as a patient because Dr. Davis is excellent, especially for Medicaid patients. Unlike many other providers, she genuinely cares. I stayed with the practice, insured under my parent's plan until I turned 26.

For several years, Sharon (who I adore) kept telling me that my insurance claim was bouncing back for reasons like address and date discrepancies. However, that’s not my responsibility – I’m insured, so it’s on them to resolve the issue and explain why my care was denied. I reached out when my cleaning appointment kept getting rescheduled and I had switched insurance. I wanted to get a breakdown of my charges. Guannah told me there was no breakdown in my chart (which was concerning), but he never mentioned a past due balance. We talked about how he and Dr. Davis had just returned from vacation – but not a word about a bill. Conveniently, I later received an email stating I owed $490, but with no details on what the charges were for. I emailed back, telling him they needed to resolve this with insurance and that I wasn’t paying until they did.

In response, he canceled my appointment, credited my account, and informed me they no longer wanted to do business with me. I reminded him that this is exactly why I left in the first place – because they’re more focused on creating problems than fixing them. I would still trust Dr. Davis with my care 100%, but it's her husband that drives both patients and staff like Diana away. Other patients have voiced similar concerns in reviews. 0/10 would not recommend dealing with him. #DrDavisGetRidOfHim

I have been in Salisbury for Two years. Found a dentist I liked, stop taking my insurance. Found Dr. Lisa Davis with Smiles by Design. This is one of the best experiences I have ever had getting my teeth cleaned. The staff was so….

. friendly! Dr. Davis was very friendly and no pressure to get extra work done. I am extremely nervous in the chair for dental procedures. I feel very confident this is the Dental office for me!

I was there for a cleaning. The staff was very cordial. I didn't have to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. The techs were were pleasant and did a very good job cleaning my teeth. The equipment was very up to date and streamline. Dr. Davis was very professional and answered all of my questions. I highly recommend this practice.
