Dr. Tyszkowski and her staff are amazing. I have been seeing them for over 20 years and now she sees my 3 kids as well. Dr. T is by far one of the most knowledgeable, detailed and kind doctors I know.

She is very transparent and and treatment plan is always on point and tailored to needs /budget. Lastly , It’s not just about “ teeth” with Dr. T - through her holistic approach she helped my husband and my son recognize health issues going beyond dentistry which they are being treated for. I highly recommend this practice!!!

My real name is Alan F. Bob Smith is an alias. I had a very frustrating experience with the Dr. Monica Tyszkowski Smiles Of Lombard dental clinic that I feel compelled to share. As a new patient, I went through the entire process of being accepted and scheduled for a dental procedure. However, just one day before my appointment, I received a call informing me that they no longer accept my insurance provider. **The bait and switch tactic used by this dental office is completely unacceptable.

** I spent time and effort providing all my insurance information, getting pre-approvals, and scheduling the appointment, only to have the rug pulled out from under me at the last minute. This was a complete waste of my time and caused a significant inconvenience. **The lack of transparency and communication from the office was appalling. ** At no point during the onboarding process was I informed that they may stop accepting my insurance in the future. This left me scrambling to find a new dentist and reschedule the procedure at the last minute which I have been unable to do because a new dental policy with another provider will not go into effect under Medicare Advantage until January 1 of 2025, a month from now. Furthermore, the office staff was not helpful or sympathetic in resolving this issue. They simply stated that it was their decision to no longer work with my insurance provider and offered no solution or alternative options.

**I would not recommend this dental office to anyone, as their business practices are clearly unethical and unreliable. ** The bait and switch tactic they employed is a complete disservice to their patients and demonstrates a lack of respect for their time and financial situation. I will be taking my business elsewhere and warning others about this experience. In answer to her response: What kind of dentist/doctor accepts a new patient's insurance policy and then 4 months later the day before scheduled crown work calls them and tells them they have cancelled and are no longer in network with the insurance carrier? She cancelled not the carrier. What a malicious person who has no integrity or regard for the patient's well being, besides being pretty stupid in the first place for doing such an inconciable thing. Certainly not a smart thing to do if you want to keep patients.
