I just became a new patient at Smiles and had my cleaning done by Yousef. My cleaning was exceptional and the office staff were all friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Welch for my exam, he listened to my concerns, did a thorough exam, and I got a clean bill. No cavities! I am excited to have access to such excellent care right in downtown Marshall.

Go the other way. They charged me for a exam. And the Dentist only looked at exray. That's not a exam. I was told I needed a root canal. Three months went by and I never heard anything more about it. This is a NEW Dentist.

So of course he is looking for work and money. Saying patients need all this work. When it's not true. They try billing you when your insurance covers it. So please consider someone else that is honest.

Worst dentist I've ever visited in my life. The male dentist (Richard) seems to have no idea how to do his job, and I literally had to tell him how he's supposed to shape my tooth when repairing a chip. He had it looking like a cartoon tooth. Then he decide to file my bottom teeth (which were perfectly straight before him touching them) for no reason at all, without informing me of what he was doing, and left one of my lower teeth longer than the others. In addition, he does not have steady hands, and it's terrifying to visit a dentist with shaky hands.

On top of all that, last time I was there, he looked at my teeth for less than 10 seconds after the assistant was done with my cleaning, and wanted to charge me an "exam fee" for literally, probably 5 seconds of looking at my teeth. As long as "Dr. " Richard Caringella is the main dentist, I will never be returning to this location. He should be fired and not allowed to preform dentistry for dental malpractice. You don't start filing away at a patients teeth, that they are not even there to have worked on, without informing them of what you are doing and having their consent.

Unfortunately, dental malpractice lawsuits are difficult to find lawers for, otherwise he would be facing one right now. Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist! I think Frowns of Marshall would be a much more fitting name for this place, as you're more likely to leave here frowning instead of smiling. . .

I am not happy about my care here matter of fact I will not be going back, they are poor with note taking and Dr Bo is kind and a ppl pleaser but not good at her job. I got dentures from here and 3 months out a few teeth came loose so I went in they sent them out to be fixed. we ll it happened again with a different tooth so I was asked by the manager to see her as she’s the owner. there were no issues with the set I had other than teeth kept coming loose they were perfect.

Well they made new set and I made complaint they do not fit and teeth are off like one side higher than other mid line is off and they don’t even set all the way in my mouth and she was not helpful what so ever said sometimes teeth come out etc. well I had my last set 10 yrs with no teeth issues only reason I went and got new pair was they were worn and I was recommended I replace them so I did but service I got was horrible they clearly take bad notes or no notes as she showed no record I had any other teeth repaired and said it was same tooth when it was not basically saying I didn’t take care of them blah blah blah When their staff member broke my tooth before new set was made someone repaired them in house as I had to go back to work and needed my teeth she argued about that with me as well when I wasn’t lying but no notes taken on that or the fact their staff broke the tooth I came in cause I thought it was loose when she pushed and it broke it confirmed what I thought. I didn’t have my old pair that long cause I didn’t take care of them. I only went here as this was my old dentist office and he retired.

well apparently good dentist don’t exist any longer. Dr Bo young and horrible. owning several business don’t make you a good dentist just shows you like money. I pd more out of pocket for my new dentures than my insurance pd so when paying that amt you take care of it and insurance companies only pay for new ones every 5 yrs they don’t cover repair etc they forced me to come during my work hours which forced me to use make up time or time off and after my appt today I left with a pair of dentures I cant wear and a pair her staff broke and made a temporary fix on so basically no teeth and now I will be forced to pay for a new set out of pocket and take time off to go to a different dentist this business doesn’t even deserve one star they deserve to be closed
