Most of our experience was great with a slight lack of communication as to why they're was a wait for the hygienist. The dentist, assistants, and the receptionists were all professional, understanding, and welcoming. We did have to wait a while because there seemed to be only one dentist and one hygienist (I don't know if that's normal). The dentist was very nice and patient with my daughter's nervousness. The hygienist, however, was nice at first but was so rough with my daughter. My daughter was nervous and anxious.

After the first time, my daughter didn't want to open her mouth, the hygienist then roughly pried my daughter's mouth open. She split my daughter's lip near the corner and it started to bleed. My daughter was scared and crying because of the roughness and her lip. The hygienist didn't apologize to my daughter or myself. Didn't wipe the blood, so I did while trying to calm my daughter. The hygienist pried my daughter's mouth open again to finish and told me that her lip split because my daughter's lips were dry, they weren't.

Since my daughter was still crying, the hygienist paused, got in my daughter's face and told her to stop crying or else she wouldn't pick out a prize. My daughter was nervous about going to the dentist before this; now she's scared to go. My daughter doesn't want to go back after that experience and I don't blame her. If she didn't need her teeth checked and cleaned, I would've ended the appointment as soon as the hygienist was roughly opening my daughter's mouth. 5 stars for the other staff and dentist though.

My son had his first time visit at this practice and he was very happy and pleased.The staff and the Dr were very courteous and professional as they kept me informed of everything I needed to know. Very happy to have found a great dentist for my kids.
