Dr Emile and staff have been taking care of me for the last 18 months and they have been doing an excellent job. Dr Emile took over the practice and that was a significant change relative to the previous owner. She has brought in new and much better equipment. I really appreciate that she is not pushing treatments that are not necessary.

Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for their lack of ethics, incompetence submitting insurance claims ,canceling my appointments and not replacing my crown. Definitely would not advise clients, colleagues and friends their services!

I had a poor experience at "SoBelle Dentistry", or Lincoln Park Dentistry (the real name on the door and the real reviews are left on Yelp) I understand bad days happen, but so many mistakes were made during my appointment. Tools choked me 5 + times and I had to pull them out myself, so much so they asked "if I had a gag reflex" lol yeah we all do! they forgot me in a room with the xray bib for 20 mins, they forgot the paper bib for half my appointment and I was covered in water, fluoride and spit by the time I left, didn't rinse enough so I swallowed grape fluoride (they ran out of mint. . ), I have a permanent retainer so they just didn't floss under it, I was alone in the room for at least an hour 15 waiting, dentist adjusted her ponytail then put her hands in my mouth, talked with another hygienist about another patient while resting her hands and tools in my mouth. .

Once again I get it bad days happen, but this was a lot for one appointment. I was supposed to be seen at 12, they called at 11:50 to ask to reschedule, I said I was on my way and they said 12:30 would work fine. It clearly was not fine, and my appointment lasted until 2:30. 12:30 to 2:30 is way too long for a run of the mill visit. I needed a lunch break visit, and I needed to get back to work.

I can't take a half day to go to the dentist. The staff was kind, and clearly overwhelmed that day. There's nothing against the personalities people that work there. But clearly they are over booked, or understaffed, or need some revamp of best practices with patients.
