Before entering private practice, she was a full-time faculty member at Palmetto Health Richland's Department of Dentistry, where she remains an active faculty member. Dr. Howell has advanced knowledge and clinical skills, regularly completing continuing education courses in various dental areas, including implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, and orofacial pain. In 2009, she completed The Orofacial Pain Mini Residency at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
