The clinic operates with a team of board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeons, including Jeffrey D. Schultz, DDS, MMS, Vincent J. Perciaccante, DDS, FACS, Bruce W. Anderson, DDS, and Jennifer D. Keyser, DDS. These surgeons possess extensive training and expertise, managing a wide variety of problems related to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions. The practice offers a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery services. They also specialize in more complex surgical interventions like corrective jaw surgery (orthognathic surgery) to address misaligned jaws, pre-prosthetic surgery to prepare the mouth for dentures, and the treatment of facial trauma, including fractures and soft tissue injuries. Furthermore, they are proficient in bone grafting techniques to rebuild bone structure and diagnose and treat TMJ disorders and oral pathology. South Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery prides itself on its state-of-the-art medical office, equipped to provide intravenous (IV) sedation and general anesthesia for patient comfort. Their surgical staff are experienced and certified oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, while the front office team is well-versed in health and insurance policies. The surgeons are actively on staff at local hospitals, demonstrating their commitment to serving the community beyond their office hours, and they are noted as one of only two surgical groups in their area to maintain this hospital presence. The clinic emphasizes personalized care, aiming to provide expert surgical treatment with a compassionate and individual touch.

I am 56 years old and I have a severe underbite. I was an automobile accident just over two years ago that did quite a bit of damage to my dental work and teeth. I don’t have the $40,000 plus for the cost of implants. I usually see another Professional TMJ and Maxillofacial surgeon And I have seen the same ones for many years. I have been gone away from there long enough just for me to be considered a new patient. To make a new appointment I have to wait approximately six months or more. . I come across the listing here which is much closer to home.

I can’t seem to get it through the receptionist or front desk person that I don’t have a general dentist because I was going to the other group and of course they’re not going to give me a referral because I can’t get into them, these people their rules are they need a referral. Well my hands are tied if I go to a regular dentist, a regular dentist does not necessarily know how to work on anyone who has a severe underbite. And the way this front office person talked they don’t really know how to work on anyone who has a severe underbite with TMJ either . They were little to no help With what I needed. And this receptionist did not understand that not every dentist will release x-rays under any circumstance, which also means my insurance will not pay for the same x-rays twice in one year. Which translate to more money out of my pocket. I hate dealing with dentist. There’s always some crooked rules that they have the very last dentist that I went to which was just over a year ago they charged me my insurance and my flex plan about $800 worth of work that was not done, and of course, trying to deal with that office was absolutely impossible, and I always wondered why people hated dentist and hated to deal with them.

I get it now they lie cheat and steel. Every chance they get. I wish I didn’t have to deal with this, but I do. I’m completely embarrassed of the way that I look. And I keep coming up with constant dead ends. But I would absolutely steer clear of this place here. They need someone in the front office that knows exactly what they’re doing and not just pulled the first person off the street that applies for the position.

I just wanted to thank Dr. Schultz and his staff for taking such good care of me. I needed a back tooth extracted and was very nervous and really scared, he and his staff were so patient, kind and caring to me. He was able to extract the tooth with little to no pain. Thank you Dr. Schultz and staff, you are very much appreciated by me!! ❤️❤️

I do not have any idea how my experience at South O•M•S could have been improved upon. I had four teeth extracted; and of course, I was anxious at the outset of the procedure. As Dr Anderson explained the process to me and began his work, I felt confident that I was in skilled hands. And YES—I was right!! This is six days later and I have had zero pain or issues of any kind.

His assistant— I think her name is Marie but my mind was fuzzy so that may be an error. She was supportive and compassionate. These two and all the staff were a blessing I won’t soon forget.

Very positive experience from start to finish. Dr. Schultz was very thorough before and after my daughter’s wisdom teeth extraction and the sweet lady that assisted him was so kind to my daughter and really made her feel at ease. There was minimal pain after the surgery. Would highly recommend this practice.
