I was so nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed, but I knew I couldn’t put it off any longer. From the very beginning, the team at Southwest Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Center made me feel at ease. When I called to book my appointment, London was incredibly accommodating—she made the entire scheduling process seamless and even stayed on top of getting my previous X-rays transferred. As a Black woman, walking into the office and being surrounded by a team of all Black women truly put me at peace. Representation matters, and their professionalism and warmth meant the world to me. The entire staff was kind, knowledgeable, and extremely supportive. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the appointment time and day I needed. Dr.

Gillian Jones was my oral surgeon, and I cannot praise her enough. She is an expert in her field and made sure I understood every part of the procedure and what to expect post-op. On the day of my surgery, the team ensured I was comfortable—offering me a blanket and double-checking that everything was running smoothly. I completely trusted Dr. Jones’ medical judgment, and that peace of mind made all the difference. They also communicated clearly with my partner during the procedure, giving him instructions on how to fill my prescription and care for me afterwards. Katrina and the rest of the staff were equally amazing—so caring and attentive. Post-op, I’ve experienced very minimal pain and have been bouncing back quickly.

To top it off, Dr. Jones personally called me the same day to check in and go over post-op care. That level of compassion and follow-through is rare and deeply appreciated. I highly recommend Southwest Maxillofacial Surgery and Implant Center to anyone in need of oral surgery. They exceeded every expectation and made a nerve-wracking experience truly smooth and empowering.

I had a tooth extraction with Dr. Gordon today and was quite nervous going in, but the experience turned out to be excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, professional, and they genuinely looked happy to be there, which made the atmosphere even more comforting. The office was very clean, and everything felt well-organized. Dr. Gordon took the time to explain the procedure thoroughly, reassuring me that it would be pain-free—and it truly was, just like he described. Dr.

Gordon continued to explain and describe what he was doing as the procedure was ongoing which further put me at ease. Dr. Gordon followed up with a phone call at the end of the day to see if I was experiencing any pain and gave me an opportunity to ask him questions. I really appreciate the care and attention I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr. Gordon and his team to anyone in need of dental work. Truly, truly second to none.

Dr. Gordon and his team are phenomenal! I was pretty nervous about the extraction of 2 Wisdom Teeth. The staff was very inviting and great to work with. I also received a T-Shirt and a pair of shades; very nice gesture. Dr.

Gordon also called me the evening of my surgery to check in to ensure everything was going well. I recommend his services as the team is professional. I shared with him the great energy I felt when I walked in the door.
