I was extremely unhappy with the administrative part of this office. I was falsely told that they accepted the insurance I had, and only after they had performed the work was told that they did not participate in the Medicare insurance portion of the insurance. If they had provided accurate information in advance of performing the services, I would not have chosen them at all. They have subsequently made false statements to me about how this issue arose, and have refused to make any good faith effort to resolve this issue.

I have been left with an extremely large and unexpected bill as a result of the false and misleading information I received prior to my appointments. I cannot recommend this company and would encourage anyone else to seek a written estimate of the cost and insurance acceptance in advance before considering doing business with them. I do not believe I have been treated honestly or fairly by this firm.

I am not one to leave reviews but I had a similar experience to Richard. I was initially told they accepted my insurance and that my estimated portion would be $634. 60. However, the day of the visit they charged me $807. 60, then after putting it through insurance they sent me a bill for $1,205. I made several attempts to resolve this with the billing department and got the run around to call my insurance. Two separate agents from Blue Cross informed me that some providers will say they accept your insurance without disclosing they are out of network.

Eventually, they took off $200 but I still paid over $1,200 more than my original estimated cost. I was left extremely disappointed in the customer service from the office and billing department. The situation was very misleading and caused me to waste hours over several months trying to resolve this issue with the dental office. Dr. Sue Parks was great but the rest of the experience was very disappointing.

Dr. Chon is a highly qualified specialist, very skillful, and providing you with information on your treatment choices. 10 stars for him and his assistants. My dissatisfaction is with the front desk employees. I came across something I haven't experienced before in any dental or medical office.

No one informed me for several months that there's an amount that I had to pay after my co-payment on the day of the procedure and what they billed to the insurance. There was not a phone call or mailed statement, or an email, until one day I received an automatically generated by their endodontic software final letter saying that they have considered "the availability of legal process to collect the amount due. " A quick check with my insurance showed that they didn't cover some of the procedures. However, the amount requested by the office was much higher than the one shown by the insurance. No explanation of that was given by the office worker.

Please check with your insurance and the front desk before you decide on your treatment. It is unfortunate that that part of my experience would maybe prevent me from going to Dr. Chon again. And he's truly the best!

Dr. Chon was so great! My first ever root canal that everyone warned me about was actually quite easy & no pain at all! He was so nice & made everything so easy & actually enjoyable for me!
