The most efficient and pleasant medical office experience ever! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Dr McFadden and everyone else there were so kind and treated me and my 14 yr old son very respectfully. We were in and out in under 30 minutes, including scans! Highly recommend!!

Two of our daughters have had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at the Livonia location and overall we have been pleased with the care they received. However, we did experience some communication challenges with our youngest daughter's recent procedure. I would suggest for future patients it could be helpful to specifically indicate in the written post-op instructions if any medications are prescribed for the patient. It would also be helpful for prescriptions to be called into the pharmacy closer to the actual procedure date. My husband and I were unaware that four months ago, at my daughter's consultation appointment, a prescription mouthwash was sent to our pharmacy that would be needed after the procedure she had done last week. After some investigating we discovered that a pharmacy text alert for that prescription had gone to my husbands cell phone (4 months ago) rather than to mine. He did not know what it was so he dismissed it as we get text alerts for everything these days.

I (mom) had attended the earlier consult appointment and nothing was verbally communicated to me about a prescription being phoned in for her. The only paperwork I left with was a receipt for the bill. My husband took my daughter to her procedure last week and came home with a print out of post-op instructions which we read thoroughly and followed. Nothing was verbally communicated to my husband about prescription mouthwash at her procedure. There were also no directions about what to do with the irrigation syringe. I vaguely remember doing this with our other daughter, but her procedure was several years ago so it's foggy. Also the wording on the post-op instructions read "IF a prescription mouthwash was prescribed.

. " Because it says "if" and we were not told anything at the procedure, we just assumed nothing was prescribed. If something had been indicated in writing on the post-op instructions, we could have caught it in time. Also, the prescription timing being closer to the actual procedure date vs. 4 months in advance would have been helpful. Overall, we are happy with Specialized Surgeons just very disappointed about how the communication went this time.
