Detailed Introduction

Spectra Health is a prominent non-profit healthcare organization with a primary location in Grand Forks, North Dakota, and an additional clinic in Larimore, ND. Established with a mission to enhance life through compassionate, quality care, Spectra Health operates on an integrated model, offering a comprehensive range of services including primary and preventative medical care, dental care, behavioral health/mental health services, addiction services, vision services, social services, and family planning. Their approach emphasizes integrated care, where various health disciplines work together to support the whole person. This is evident in their on-site behavioral health services seamlessly integrated into their primary care setting, and their team-based care for medical services ranging from well-child visits to geriatric care, immunizations, preventive care, prenatal care, women's health, chiropractic care, chronic disease management, and even advanced care like hospitalization, screenings, and diagnostic lab testing. A key aspect of Spectra Health's commitment to accessibility is their "SpectraPlan," a sliding-fee discount program for qualified individuals and families. This program helps reduce the cost of healthcare for those who meet eligibility criteria, accepting most insurances including Medicaid, and allowing the SpectraPlan to be used in conjunction with other insurance. This dedication to affordability aligns with their mission to serve vulnerable populations and ensure healthcare access regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Beyond direct medical and dental treatment, Spectra Health also provides crucial supportive services. Their addiction services offer guidance on the road to recovery, including medications for opioid or alcohol use disorder, with no referrals needed and flexible payment options. Their in-house social services team empowers and supports individuals by assisting with various aspects of life beyond clinical care, such as prescription assistance, housing navigation, transportation assistance, nutrition/food assistance, and community referrals. The organization also emphasizes patient education and preventative care, highlighted by their efforts in promoting screenings and addressing community health concerns. Spectra Health is committed to building trust and providing patient-centered care, evident in their stated vision to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care that allows patients to feel seen, heard, and respected. They actively engage with the community and collaborate with partners to improve healthcare access and reduce health disparities.

It was decent. Not alot of waiting room time. Despite Two different dentists gave me two different treatment plans, I felt the best treatment option was made. I was having some issues hours after the procedure and started calling the office around 4. After 20 minutes waiting for someone to answer. It disconnected. After several other calls unanswered I gave up.

Very upsetting . No separate number to call in case of issues? No nothing. and it's Friday. Not very comforting. Decent place to go for emergency issues.

I brought my kids in for dental care, and they were amazing. My 11 year old has a very difficult time with dental/medical appointments, but they were wonderful with him. He asked to keep going there. My 14 year old also felt very comfortable with the care. They explained treatment plans and billing, and there was truly no judgement, just honest explanations.

I like the appointment system as well - appointments made for three weeks out. It's difficult to make appointments 6 - 9 months in advance like most dental offices, as we don't know our schedules that far out. Overall, I am very satisfied. I will continue to bring my children here.

They have helped me take care of my medical issues and with and with my paperwork. Couldn't ask for a better team.

This place use to be amazing and now I despise it. Everytime I went I would have to wait longer than an hour at times. But if you are a minute late they won't see you. The male nurse at the front desk with a mullet, and I think attempt at a mustache, is someone you want to avoid going to. Been coming here for years and now I'm unfamiliar with anyone there. Horrible place.
