I've been a patient of Dr. Nima Rezaiyan for years, and I'm consistently impressed with the level of care I receive. The entire team is exceptional, always going above and beyond to make each visit a pleasant experience. Dr. Nima Rezaiyan not only an expert in their field but also a kind and considerate professional.
They take the time to listen to my concerns and address them with precision. Thanks to them, I have a beautiful, healthy smile. I wouldn't trust my dental care to anyone else. Five stars all the way!

Dr. Rezaiyan and his staff member Stephanie are great! We just moved to Silver Spring and I’m so thankful we found his practice. He is very thorough and efficient with my dental care and he makes it easy to understand what treatments I need.
It’s also enjoyable to call and schedule my appointments because his staff are so kind. Plus the office is super clean and there’s never any wait! I highly recommend Spring Dental Associates.

I had my first visit today. It went really really well! I am so happy to have found a new dental home. The staff there were so friendly and very comforting, they gave me the vibe as if they’ve known me for years! First visit, I had my x rays completed and was provided a thorough explanation of what was seen, what the next steps are and it gave me great comfort feeling like my teeth were in good hands.
The dentist is very knowledgeable and very much into not having to do unnecessary work, if that makes sense. I say that because a lot of dentist will push a whole bunch of information on you and a lot make you pay all this out of pocket but this practice isn’t into it. I like that!

The reviews saying this place is clean are from 3-11 years ago. It must not have been cleaned since then because this place is disgusting. The floors are dirty, the walls are scuffed, every metal furnishing is tarnished. Visible scaling on the water spout to fill your cup. The chairs are extremely old and the upholstery is falling off of them in places. The light above the chair that you have to stare at the entire time is cracked and dirty. There’s a water cooler in the waiting room that I wouldn’t drink from if I was dying from dehydration. The admin at the front desk and the assistant were lovely and welcoming. Dr. Rezaiyan was not. I went in to have a filling replaced that had fallen out. This was the place that had the earliest appointment. I explained to the dentist that I have TMJD and requested a bite block. I was told by a TMJ specialist never to have dental work without one. I have had visits with and without it, and having a bite block saves me from days of mind numbing pain, so I would have walked out of there if there wasn’t one available.
The first time I asked, the dentist just flat out ignored me. Then I asked again and for some reason, he argued with me, saying it would cause more pain. I asked if he had TMJD and said I would decide whether it was causing more pain or not. He finally relented, but not before he added, “we ouse this for kids. ” Okay dude, I asked for something very simple and the amount of whining on his part was over the top and embarrassing. Next he said to raise my hand at any point and he would stop. So as he drilled close to the nerve in my tooth, I raised my hand to signal he was causing pain and I needed more numbing. While CONTINUING TO DRILL, he barked at me to raise my other hand. (I guess the hand I raised was on his side and in his way? I really don’t know). So I raised that hand and he still kept drilling until I yelled, through all the instruments in my mouth, that it hurt. He seemed very annoyed at the interruption, though it’s his job to provide pain-free care. I stayed quiet afterward though the painful drilling continued. Next I witnessed him drop gauze and then PICK IT UP and put it INTO MY MOUTH. I think it just fell on his lap, but ew??? I literally couldn’t say anything because of all the stuff in my mouth. At the end of my filling, he asked me how my bite was.
Didn’t check that I could floss (I had to check myself). I said it felt weird in my mouth and the filling jutted into my mouth too much. He argued with me, saying “it’s because I replaced your filling, so it feels different because there isn’t a gap anymore. ” The filling fell out only days prior, so I have not forgotten how my tooth used to feel. After his arguing, he went to put the drill back in my mouth, and I asked what he was doing, since he didn’t agree with me. He said he was drilling (no other details). Then once he was done he literally just walked straight out of the room, like a child off to have a pout. I was lost, I asked if he was coming back and the assistant seemed just as confused. I don’t really understand, because how abnormal is it to work with a patient to ensure their tooth feels normal? I’ve always had dentists take great care to do so. I really don’t get how you can be a dentist and have no interest in your patient’s comfort or safety. Like why are you even a dentist? Never had such a disgusting and disappointing dental experience. Dr. Rezaiyan, I hope you’re going through something right now & this is not how you treat the rest of your patients.
