Dr Skow and her team worked hard to get our 7 day old daughter in for a tongue tie consult as quickly as possible. We were very impressed at the level of concern and caring for our daughter that they had right from the start. During our consult, we did not at all feel pressured to make a choice then and there but we knew we wanted to move forward if Dr Skow thought it was needed. She took extra care to ensure we felt safe and comfortable handing our little one over for the procedure.

After, she spent time with us to make sure we understood how to best care for her during the healing process. We will be taking our little gal back to see Dr Skow in the future, we loved our experience there and her staff was top notch.

Krissy, definitely could tell that I probably had sleep apnea by, just looking at my face and nose. I was there for my dentist appointment, and she was asking me if I ever had a sleep study done, I said no. Then I talked to my doctor and had one and I got my sleep machine, I stay awake all day. Before this I would fall asleep in the chair after lunch and I was always tired so I was drinking coffee more than normal. . to help keep me awake. . this sleep machine is working very well for me and I am getting oxygen level back up to where they should be. I was at 75 % before I got the machine.

I also stopped breathing 25 times during an hour. Now, last night I stopped 8 times an hour. My machine tells me how long I use it at night and how many times there is an event meaning how many times I stopped breathing. . my insurance wants me to use it at least 4h hours a night I been using it 7-8 hours each night. . the first night I didn't sleep much but I definitely could tell I had more energy and oxygen in my body. The 2nd night it was much better and I have been using it for 4 nights now and I have no problem getting to sleep. .

just a little adjustment to get used to. . . But, I highly recommend checking out for sleep apnea. Thank you, Krissy for your knowledge. . .

Highly recommend Dr Skow. She was recommended to us by my infant’s pediatrician and my cousin after her two son’s tongue tie procedures. My daughter had a posterior tongue tie that was restricting her eating habits, and after meeting with Dr Skow, we learned both cheeks had a tie as well! I was devastated, because after spending a week in the NICU after our daughter was born (from delivery complications), I just didn’t know how I was going to be able to afford this procedure since I didn’t put my daughter on dental insurance.

Dr Skow worked with us financially, and was able to get our daughter in for the procedure the very same day of our consult! I cried happy tears & was so thankful to Dr Skow that she wasn’t going to let my financial burdens get in the way of my daughter being helped. I will recommend Dr Skow to anyone!!

I went to Dr. Skow because I was having trouble getting quality sleep because of the way I mouth breathe while sleeping. She recommended using mouth tape while sleeping. I was skeptical at first, but instantly noticed a change in the quality of my sleep.

I used to sweat a lot, wake up with a dry mouth, have less energy, and make my wife angry by keeping her awake with my mouth breathing. All those issues have been solved! I will definitely be moving forward with additional advice and treatment. Thanks Dr. Skow!
