I have dental anxiety and I went here because they took my insurance. I had to get fillings done and I told the dentist about my anxiety and she hardly could care. She was not sympathetic at all or even made me feel comfortable to allow her to put a needle in my mouth ! I have never in my damn life had a dentist put a needle in my mouth and jiggle my cheek. I was terrified and cried my eyes out and all she said was oh we going to have to stop and you are going to have to find a dentist that uses laughing gas….

. I had to force myself to calm down because I wanted to get this over with and never come here again. She finally applied the numbing and started drilling…. Now y’all ! I have never had anyone drill my teeth this much.

She also had to leave after drilling to do an exam but I swear the top of my mouth was getting its feeling back, the numbing was wearing off. Fast forward to the final results——> I have a hole in my tooth that didn’t even need to be drilled, my fillings don’t have space between them for me to floss. I’m pissed off !

I have been living in Waldorf for about 2 years now and since myself and family have been in the area, this office has been my children’s dental office. Other than the long wait a few times, I haven’t really had an issue until Monday. Friday 10/11 I confirmed both my children’s appointments via text for their upcoming appointment for Monday 10/14. Well late Sunday early Monday morning we had death in the family and being as though I lost my mother and my children lost their grandmother less than 6 months ago, to hear the news of another death took a toll on us and we headed to be with family Monday morning. From the time I got news I called the office no answer.

I left a message. I called multiple times since and no answer. I received a call later in the day reminding me that my children were running late for the appointments and if we were still coming. I told the lady on the phone about the death in the family and how I called multiple times to reschedule well not even to reschedule because I wasn’t in a good headspace but my point in calling was to let them know that my two would not be at the appointment. The first thing that came out of St Charles Family Dental staff was well why did you confirm the appointment on Friday now you’ll be charged a missed appointment fee.

. Smh No my condolences NOTHING JUST WELL YOU CONFIRMED THE APPOINTMENT!! That completely through me and what I got from that call was the staff has no sympathy of what their patients is going through. Who cares about the fee it was the carelessness of our situation for me. I prefer to go to an office that has a family dynamic with their patients and based off this experience it was nothing as such…

I have to say this dentistry needs more training on professionalism. The receptionist has a nasty condescending attitude and is not welcoming. I will take my business elsewhere. The smallest of customer service could make the customer experience pleasant.

Especially when you’re in excruciating pain from a toothache. And the dental treatment is very alarming for the amount of money you have to pay. If you do not like your job please quit and make it easier on the customer to get fair treatment! I will never do business with this place again.

Dentist doesnt want to give how many teeth needs filling everything is secret I went to other dentist and let them fix the teeth and when i go back to them they told me they need to fix the same teeth again. If you ask them question they dont have clear answer. I will try to find better dentist that will give me honest opinion. very bad costumer service.
