Seems weird to be so excited about a dental appointment, however, a Dr Hughes experience is always pain free, professional and funnily enough cheerful. Seeing the staff is like seeing friends. Dr Hughes professionalism and warm care puts you totally at ease, and the state of the art equipment is fascinating.

I had been going to this dental office and was satisfied. My husband was going to a different dental office, he had a troubled tooth and they told him to see a specialist. I thought the my dental office was better since the dentist did everything and weren’t limited so I asked to see if my dentist Dr. Dunbar could do the tooth canal, the reception said she’ll need to see him in person and couldn’t just go by the x-ray- I agreed but told her my husband saw his dentist a few days ago so this may not be covered my insurance and we didn’t want to pay out of pocket and she assured me it will be fine and we didn’t have to pay. . it’ll be a consultation. After the visit, I got a bill.
Called the office and they told me we had to pay what insurance didn’t. I was puzzled. . . 1) I trusted them enough to bring my husband as a patient 2) they made it seem like the conversation I had with the receptionist assuring me I didn’t have to pay for the consultation with Dr. Dunbar was as if I was lying. I even provided all the x-rays from a few days ago so we could transfer him over.
So, they don’t care about patients and I don’t want to go to a dental office when I trust them but they can’t the same and just are after money. Especially when there are tons of dental offices around. And the worst part is when I told them we won’t be coming back. . did not care at all.

I have been going to Dr. Hughes office since I first started going to the dentist. 22 years later I wouldn't prefer to go to any other office. Not only do they have top of the line equipment and keep their offices extremely clean but they also treat you like family. I've never felt rushed in and out of the office and they take their time to address any questions or concerns you have.
And in recognition of all the reviews given that it's almost impossible to see Dr. Hughes now, it's actually not. All you have to do is request to see him and if you schedule an appointment on a day he's not there then that's your own fault.
