The best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Very nice and clean office, very nice and professional staff, and a great dentist who treats you like a person and not a number. Also, the fastest and least (zero) pain ive ever had getting a filling. Will be back.

I had a tooth abscess. Couldn't get in to see Dr Dwan. I went to my PCP for antibiotics because my face was very swollen, I had a fever and severe pain. After starting antibiotics I tried to schedule an appointment again with Dr Dwan. I was told he had no openings until June. If your an established patient and having a dental emergency your dentist should see you no matter what. Dr Dwan is very uncaring and had no compassion.
Instead of taking vacations all the time he should take care of his patients. Especially in an emergency situation. Very disappointed with my care there. He caters to the well known in the community who have money only. Shame on you.

Would rate zero stars. It’s safe to say I will be filing a lawsuit because they caused me to have a seizure in the chair after administering numbing shots, did not give me verbal or visual warning before shoving a giant needle in my mouth, did not put me in the proper seizure recovery position, were overall callous and careless with my treatment and it’s mishandling, and then would not give me the names of those who treated me when I asked even though I am fully legally entitled to request the full names of the people who mishandled my care and put my health in danger. He even tried intimidating me by saying he knows the licensing board when I requested the information and used police to intimidate me and avoid giving the information I have within my right to request as a patient and as a citizen of Michigan.
His old female blonde assistant with the facial expression of a constipated mouse was doing everything she could to verbally dismiss and gaslight me instead of abide by medical law and practices, even going as far to try to use the fact that I called for a follow up (as ordered by the doctor) against me to insinuate my claims of malpractice were false and misplaced. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE WITH YOUR HEALTHCARE. They still did not give me the information I am legally entitled to request at FULLFILMEMT in person, they instead tried to sneakily not give me the names without researching the laws by which they are supposed to abide when they swore oaths and were given their license to practice.
This was all after they tried to talk me out of getting a tooth extraction and to getting a much more expensive operation and reschedule the initial appointment instead of giving me the care that I had come in and scheduled the appointment for that day.

I recently seen Dr. Dwan at a free dental clinic and I absolutely cannot complement him enough. He not only did the 1 filling requested by volunteers who didn't know enough to see the other fillings I needed, but he went above and beyond (for free!!) To do a debridement, and take care of everything I possibly needed (and made it clear to me that I needed other fillings that the other departments missed.
)! I'm so thankful to have met such a dedicated dentist.
