Excellent dentist. He was recommended to us by the orthodontist when we moved here. The hygienists are wonderful and the secretary is very organized and always calls to remind of appointments.

Ultimately, I do enjoy Dr. Hatfield and his staff. The hygienists I've known my whole life, some of them at least. They have always been fantastic to me. Somehow though, even as a kid my appointments always seem mismanaged. I can say I typically arrive for my medical (or any appointments) about 15 mins earlier. Just as a way to live by for me.
To this office though apparently people's time is not well respected, from what I can tell. . . Almost every time I am called about my appointments and the need to switch times around. As someone who plans out their life on a daily and often weekly. . .
basis the constant pressure of "fitting in" a simple dental appointment (cleaning and check-up) is always a big trigger or point of contention with me because I do my part as a client and show up at the place of business at the agreed upon time earlier than need be to follow whatever protocols you have in place (not a quip or anything against that, I assume its a covid screener) then to be left waiting around all the time, no matter the appointment. It always leaves me wondering in those moments, how can a place where I get this calm feeling, seem so chaotically managed. Just as it is not my place to tell someone how to run their business, it is their choice to at least respect their client's time and money. Unfortunately for Dr. Hatfield and his staff, they will not be getting any more from me or my family.

Dr. Hatfield has been our family dentist for many years. He is the most gentle dentist I have ever had!!
