I have been a patient of Dr. Stiles for 37 years...my wife and children are also patients. I retired and moved to South Carolina 3 years ago, and I still fly up to Maryland for my regular cleanings and any time I need dental work. I cannot recommend Stiles Dentistry highly enough! If you live in the Montgomery County area, you don't need to look anywhere else to find your dentist!

I recently had my first appointment at Stiles Dentistry and the experience could not have been better. Dr. Wilcox was truly impressive in every respect (as was the entire staff). The appointment started with a friendly conversation in a comfy office (not in the dental chair).

Dr. Wilcox distinguished herself as a keen listener and communicator and covered topics that had not previously, in my case, been broached by other dentists. The actual exam was very relaxing, thorough, and informative (and the views/vignettes outside the window were a delightful touch). I'm so thankful for this brilliant dentist!

Dr. Stiles was highly recommended to me by a good friend working in the field of oral & maxillofacial surgery. I traveled from out-of-state to see him, with hopes of fixing unsatisfactory work that I’d received from a previous dentist. I went to the prior for a single root canal procedure and crown installation on an upper central incisor after the root inside died, with no apparent cause, and the tooth began to develop an unsightly blue hue. I was left with a poor cosmetic result even after the intentional destruction of my other, perfectly healthy, upper central incisor and installation of a second crown(per the dentists’ strong recommendation) for the sake of shade matching.

That ultimately failed and left me with two fake front teeth of different shades. I left that appointment with more damage to my natural teeth than when I arrived, and a new and more obvious cosmetic issue. To say I was disheartened would be an understatement. Not only did Dr. Stiles fix the cosmetically botched issue, but also identified an opportunity to add small detail to my two upper lateral incisors which enhanced the overall symmetry and aesthetics of my smile.

I left his office with a confidence in my smile that I never thought I would have. He delivered what I hoped for and more by using an efficient and conservative approach to repair the issue, coupled with a careful appreciation for detail. Very grateful.
