Dr. Garofalo is extremely knowledgeable dentist. His workmanship is top of line. The hygienists do an extremely nice job cleaning and are very friendly and caring. Waiting time for appointment is never more than 5 minutes. In the end of cleaning Dr. Garofalo checks whole mouth and every tooth carefully and let you the overall condition of your mouth. I highly recommend him.

DR. GAROFALO is very skilled, makes you at ease and explains everything you need to know about your dental care. The staff is very friendly and courteous as well as the hygienist. If doctor needs to refer you to a specialist, I have found to them to be excellent providers.

Dr. Garofalo is a wonderful dentist with an office full of warm & competent staff. Going to the dentist isn't exactly anyone's favorite thing to do. However, at this office, I always feel welcomed and reassured that all will be well.

Mary Ann did a thorough and gentle cleaning for me today! I was a bit nervous as I haven't gotten one for a while but she did a super job. I highly recommend this practice in Stirling.

I first found Dr. Garofalo through many searches in which I was searching for a more conservatively minded dentist in terms of treatment. I was shocked when Dr. Garofalo himself answered my detailed questions in an email and even offered a phone call! I had a similar experience in office where I was impressed with his skill and the office. Unfortunately, things changed a year or so later when I called to book a cleaning, hoping to make Dr. Garofalo my new dentist. I was told by the office staff that they would have to "verify my insurance coverage.

" The day of the appointment, I asked if they had been able to verify and they said they had not, and that I would need to pay out of pocket then submit for reimbursement. I cancelled the appointment. Later, I called my insurance company to verify that Dr. Garofalo was in network, and was assured that he is. I followed up with an email to the office to ask how to get the verification completed. I never received a reply. Then, I called my insurance and asked them to call the office themselves to verify my coverage.

Only on this call, did the office state that Dr. Garofalo will "soon no longer be participating in the plan. " It seems like this was the case from the beginning and I just got the run around. Why not be transparent from the beginning and acknowledge why there were so many "issues verifying my coverage" (in other words, that they had no plans to accept it)? I was able to get a live human at my insurance company every time I called within minutes, who were able to easily verify his in-network status to me, so this could not have been the issue. Very disappointing. Even if you show as "in network", I recommend verifying this with the office themselves, although in my experience you're not guaranteed any reply, much less a transparent one.
