This dentist came recommended to me by a neighbour who has since learned the hard way that she refers out for everything due to sheer incompetence and is hardly there, letting the practice be run by inexperienced associate dentists who prescribe unnecessary work costing thousands of dollars. My husband saved his tooth thanks to leaving Dr Kim for a local reasonable dentist rather than the recommended root canal. My son had fallen on his front tooth. She recommended a wait and see, then missed the abscess and led me to believe it was an emergency on the day the pediatric dentist office was closed.

Associate told me I needed to leave the room to protect my baby in case he didn't cooperate. Not only did she not complete the work since my son was obviously upset by the pain, Dr Kim is so unprofessional that she would rather save face than own up to her practice's mistake and apologize, denied missing the abscess and recommending we wait and see for 6 months, and her associate requesting I leave my nervous 6 year old alone. Nevermind the fact they are sexist requiring their female staff to wear stripper tight scrubs. They incessantly push cosmetic dentistry on their patients and automatically schedule more visits than necessary if you have good insurance.

My mild gingivitis was cured by a deep cleaning which she never recommended and instead just kept bringing me in for ineffective standard cleanings. Run far away if you want to keep your teeth healthy.

If you want the most up to date dental care with friendly top notch technicians, then Stone Road Dental is the place to go! Dr Kim is my absolute favourite and her work is gentle, precise, holistic and keeps in mind all my anxieties about being in the chair! I adore her and her team!

I wanted to ensure people are aware of how amazing the staff is at this office, because I like to look through reviews to determine if a company is worth visiting. Some reviews are genuine and some are a reflection of how miserable/disgruntled a person is, so I wanted to chime in. Not only is Dr Hill so kind and knowledgeable, but her and her wonderful staff have helped me through my dental anxiety. At my first visit, Dr Hill and her staff educated me on what were priority concerns and what sequence things should be completed in. I never felt pressured to proceed with anything that was recommended, their goal was to make sure I had all the information to make the best decision for myself and in a time frame that worked for me.

I hardly ever smiled because I was self conscious of my teeth. Not only did she get me back on track, but she also improved my smile with crowns and now I smile all the time. I highly recommend this dental office. They have a family feel, not like some offices where you feel like you’re in an assembly line. Both my children are in the midst of early orthodontic treatment as well.

We have seen such progress and they love to come and see the hygienists and get prizes from the treasure box after their appointments. I feel like the staff really makes the effort to connect on a personal level with us, which makes me appreciate the fact that I’ve found this office.

This rating is purely for the receptionists at this establishment. Terrible service.. no greeting or even a smile, just hostile and unfriendly. If you want this kind of greeting first thing in the morning when you’re bringing your child to the dentist then by all means come here.
