Receptionist apparently doesn't like her job. She was very rude. I called to set an appointment for my husband. He needs a kidney transplant and has to see a dentist before he can have the surgery. Though they accept our insurance they won't accept him as a patient because we live too far away! You're not making the drive! This is the only dentist office within a 50 mile radius from our home.

So now we get to travel over 100 miles and wait 4 months so he can see a dentist so he can have a kidney transplant. While I understand the receptionist doesn't make the policy (some idiot does) there really was no reason for her to be rude and disrespectful. I am glad we found a place where the receptionist was helpful and is doing everything possible to bump up the appointment so he can get a transplant.

The staff and Dr. Cross are awesome, but man, that receptionist is something else. Every time I call or visit, she's super rude. I called to ask a few questions and get an address to schedule an appointment and she snapped at me, saying, "I can't find it right now. I've got other patients to help, and we already gave you a paper with the info. " Her tone was awful. I'd had enough at that point, so I told her to stop talking to me like that and reminded her it's her job to answer patients' questions.

You won't believe it, but she actually HUNG UP ON ME! I'm shocked they keep her around. She's probably costing them business and referrals with how she treats people. Look, I'm usually a very patient person, but this was the last straw. There's just no excuse for treating folks like that. This level of unprofessionalism is concerning and unexpected for a healthcare facility. It's a real shame because everything else about the place is great.

They have a commercial that is false advertising. There is this old guy PRETENDING to eat an apple. That is false advertising you can clearly tell he is pretending and I myself have dentures and can not bite into an apple. You can't eat apples with dentures.

Highly recommend! I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. After the past two visits, I have become an advocate. Dr. Cross and Reese (hygienist) were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plan is actionable and has my best interest in mind. Big thanks to all of the staff at Stuart Family Dental- Dr. Cross, Reese, and Angie.
