i haven’t gone to the dentist in a while so i came here for the first time for a quick exam and cleaning. the staff were overall very friendly (especially the hygienist) but lacked a bit of communication between each other and to me. the worst part was i had a tiny chip in my tooth that didn’t bother me too much. the hygienist first told me it was tiny and i wouldn’t need to fill or buff it out if it wasn’t bothering me (which i was fine with).
however after the dentist came and buffed it away without telling me any sort of price. after my appointment was done i was charged for it. if i had known there would’ve been a cost, i wouldn’t have done it. they didn’t even give me an option to decline.
i was also prescribed something and was told they would print and give me my prescription at the front desk, when i went to the front desk they had no information of what i was suppose to be getting. i had to try and explain what it was and they took a guess and printed out a prescription… the positives were that they were informative if the condition of my teeth, the vibes were friendly and they had a tv on the ceiling! but i hope they can be more clear in costs and ask BEFORE they do something and be more communicative with each other.

The experience at Dental studio was quite good and awesome. cleaning was done by Ms Kate and she has good hands of experience and quite a jolly person so you would not feel the pain in conversion . Filling of teeth was done by Dr Mustafa who is quite a skilled person in his work domain and knows the exact root cause which needs immediate attention.
They guide you with pros and cons from all aspects and gives us an opportunity to choose the best option suitable.

I walked into this clinic, so to speak, during a trip to the mall. I was enticed by the kind front desk staff and modern looking setup. Despite being told I'd be seen within 10 minutes by the doctor for an Invisalign consult, 35 mins later I was seated in a room. The doctor showed up and had little bedside manner nor ability to build even a small rapport and was terse. I put this obvious red flag aside and continued the consult giving him the benefit of the doubt of perhaps a busy day. After a brief look at my teeth, he provided a quote with a range of $4,500-$5,000 then proceeded to ask me several times if I'm okay with that. I said sure, sounds fair.
He then spent 30 seconds explaining the process and had his assistant come in to scan my mouth for Invisalign measurements and a 3D rendering from Invisalign to see before and after pics. This process took around 25-30 mins as the clinician wasn't able to successfully scan my mouth - likely due to lack of experience. At any rate, the doctor returned and finished the scan after a further 10 mins. He reiterated the price, which made me feel uncomfortable as it felt like I was in a flea market getting a quote from a vendor expecting me to haggle - which I didn't. I said the quote was fine and was happy to proceed with treatment pending the treatment plan from Invisalign. He advised the images would be returned to them within 5 days on average. After two weeks of not hearing from the clinic, I called and I was put on hold for 10 mins and hung up.
After 3 weeks I called again but was put on hold again without anyone returning to the phone line. At the 4 week mark I gave up and looked elsewhere - and thankfully so, I must say, as it all made sense to me in retrospect. The doctor was arrogant, unfriendly, and gave the impression that he wasn't an expert with this orthodontic procedure but purely focused on the commercial aspect of the treatment, which quite frankly even that they weren't able to do properly. And the kicker was the lack of follow-up - if they can't provide a basic service like calling a patient back to discuss the treatment plan and schedule an appointment, can they really be trusted to provide top level service during the course of treatment? After doing a quick search on the Invisalign website, I found a top tier dentist in my area and have been very pleased so far with the treatment. Proceed with caution at Studio Dental - perhaps general cleanings and fillings are fine here, but definitely do your homework before committing to more involved procedures.

I went to Sherway Studio Dental Center for getting some fillings. The day of my appointment I mentioned to the dentist to do only 2 fillings as per my previous experiences this type of procedures requires time. The dentist laughed and in less of one hour, he said that he completed 4. I was surprised because the dentist did not inject a local anesthetic; also, I did not feel he used the dental drill as usually these procedures require. From the beginning, I doubt about the quality of this procedure, and I noticed the dentist wanted to squeeze my insurance.
After me, my husband was next, but we noticed the dentist was not ready for my husband’s treatment, he tried to do different patients at the same time and that made us feel worry and we decided to leave. The day after this incident, the clinic’s manager (Shubman) called us asking for details about this incident and offering us an apology; also, she recommended another dentist with great experience. We did not feel comfortable and safe going back to this clinic. A few weeks after received this treatment at this clinic some fillings started fell out. I went to another clinic for a new checking and it was confirmed that 2 fillings were the same of the ones made at Sherway Studio Dental Center; in other words, I had to re-do and re-pay to fix it.
I called to the clinic and talked with the Manager, the same person who offered an apology requesting the reimbursement of the money to the insurance, so that I can continue with my treatment; however, she and the clinic has not provided any answers, she said that she will call me back and she doesn't, neither she contacted me by email. It is very frustrating, these lake of professionalism and desire of money.
