$tunning $miles, more about profit than care READ REVIEWS CAREFULLY: Look at the dates and doctor name. I noticed new owners "inherited" previous doctor's good reviews/high rating. I am very disappointed to see how much this place has changed. High high-quality standard for dental care (Dr. Koren who is no longer there) have been diluted with a for-profit approach, which was noticeable in several ways. Dr. G's total lack of effort to interact on a human level e.

g. little time spent, no small talk, no eye contact (entered room and started speaking to me from behind), no use of my name. And then after the exam, he launched into the work he recommend$. (I had to turn my head to talk to him and see the xrays. The office used to have screens in front of you to show you xrays. . .

and the prev doctor actually moved a few feet to have a conversation and look at you. ) I did not recognize any of the former staff. Maybe it's normal for people to move on but it seemed like they hired like minded $taff to reinforce their over diagnosing/profit approach. And these docs have several locations in NJ. If you're looking for quality dentistry with a human approach, JUST MOVE ON from here and take the time to do some research.

Do not be fooled - the current 4. 9 Star rating is due to years of great care and business done by Dr. Jonathan Koren (former owner) who had to step away and sold his practice due to personal situation in Spring 2024. They have simply updated his listing to their own. Look at the dates and Dr. names in the review carefully. Having personally been with the practice since 2014 - Dr.

Koren had a cult following and made sure to do right with his patients and staff. Since Dr. Loutifi took over, it has gone down hill fast. Mistakes billing clients for basic cleanings, changes in office (removal of TVs - 'goodie bag' quality - issues with appointments - overall atmosphere) and just a sense of chasing profits versus the dental care philosophy Dr. Koren built. Had my last appointment in November 2024 with Jannette (now former Hygienist) who was why I stayed - but at that point made the decision to not rebook. Received a call today and had a voicemail left by Dawn.

Called back and was asked to book my next cleaning, I nicely stated that I nor my partner would not be returning or booking any additional appointments. Dawn asked why that was and I clearly stated the new management. She then got defensive and asked if I had given them a chance. I tried to explain all the faults and was hung up on. That in itself should tell you what you need to know about Stunning Smiles. Simply do not ask a question if you do not want to hear the real answer, but hanging up on a patient who has been with your practice for over a decade is just wrong.
