I set up an appointment with Dr. Szekely, and arrived at the office at 9:30 upon the request of the receptionist. I sat in the waiting room for about 10 minutes, and the hygienist came out too meet me and , I followed her into the examination room. I told her I didn’t want any x-rays because I didn’t have any major problems, I just wanted one front tooth bonded. She talked me in to the x-ray because I was a new patient. she said now we’re gonna have to do a cleaning, and I told her I didn’t want a cleaning because of a bad experience. She left the room and,the doctor came in.

The Doctor said I don’t want your business, and walked out in a hissy fit, Before I could even explain to him that I had my teeth cleaned, and I had sensitivity to hot and cold for six months, and tooth pain. The doctor showed me no respect! I felt like I was discriminated against because he didn’t even try to accommodate my needs of being a elderly patient. The visit was a total waste of time. I asked the receptionist if I could purchase the x-rays, and, I take it her silence means a no. I just had to get this off my chest! UPDATE!!!12/29/22. After the doctor denied me service for not getting my teeth cleaned, he said there will be no charge, for none of his services, which was only an x-ray. About four weeks later, I received a bill from Aetna Medicare for $105.

50 for the x-ray. I filed a complaint with Aetna, Medicare, and a representative called me from Medicare, and his name was Nathan. The doctor denied me the x-rays, until Medicare contacted them, and now they’re happy for me to come in and get the x-rays. Nathan told office girl,that I said the doctor wouldn’t charge me for any services, and she must have talked to the doctor, and the doctor denied and blatantly lied that he did not say that. He also stole $105. 50 for services that weren’t complete. Stay away at all cost!

Personable, competent, professional, and caring not just Dr Dan but throughout the staff. They take that extra step to be helpful and accommodating. Even took the time to help me sort through various dental insurance plans to determine the best fit. I really appreciate their non-corporate relaxing environment. As a new patient , I’m really happy with my choice.
