I needed to have a crown put back on and they were able to do it that day. The staff is very professional and courteous. The facilities are new and state of the art - and they take my dental insurance (Delta Dental). Dr. Sidhom was great! All in all, it was a 5 out of 5 experience. The only bad thing I could say was the auto-tuned hip-hop music playing in the waiting area was a bit loud.

From the moment of my intake from the dental hygienist, my visit was extremely pleasant. She was so nice and explained everything she was doing and it was just a refreshing atmosphere. The dentist, Dr. Sidhom was also extremely pleasant, patience and walked me through every step of my exam and procedure.

I had 3 extractions and he made sure I was comfortable and my experience was painless. I had never experience dental care like what I experienced at Tender Dental Care. I also referred a friend.

I won’t be coming back. As a new patient I honestly expected a complimentary cleaning or X-ray, but that didn’t happen. The staff seemed nice and professional at first, but I was told the X-rays would be fast, so I could get a cleaning, which was the main reason I scheduled the appointment in the first place. But, I never got the cleaning.

When it came time to go over my treatment plan, the staff member didn’t really explain anything well. By that point I had already been waiting a long time and was feeling totally overwhelmed with the information. I felt like I was just expected to understand the charges without any clear explanation. I had to ask for more time to process everything and even then I walked out feeling frustrated.

The total cost, with my PPO insurance, was about $2,000 just for a deep cleaning. After the appointment, I reached out to another dental office for a second opinion, and they told me the insurance breakdown and percentages I was given weren’t correct. Overall it was a really disappointing experience and definitely felt taken advantage of. I won’t be returning!

I gave 2 stars because the environment is as clean and pleasant. I was very disappointed with my visit as I was unaware that when I made my appointment they scheduled for checkup with X-rays ONLY. They didn’t schedule me for a cleaning as well. When I asked about it at my visit I was told cleaning need to be a separate appointment once they determined what type of cleaning would be necessary. After the checkup the dentist came up with this explanation of the type of “deep cleaning” I would need.

He described the basic cleaning I always get at any other office that is fully covered my insurance. He offered to show me a printout of the cost with my insurance but I declined because I was already disappointed with not having my teeth cleaned and didn’t want to take another day with the off to return. I had never been to a dental appointment like that and I’m pretty regular with my cleanings and checkups. I tried this place because it was closer to home but wasted my time.
