My kids have been going here for a couple of years and always enjoy their visit. The are always excited about going to get their teeth cleaned and even more excited to get their coin for a prize at the end. The staff are very thorough and answer any questions you may have.

They are professional and it is a very pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a dental facility for their children.

I don’t usually leave reviews. I live 2 1/2 hours away from this facility. My son needed to be put under general anesthesia and no one in my area or with an hour away would take my son. I called Tennessee smiles. They had him an appointment the following morning got him in seen was super friendly, amazing with him cured all my anxiousness cured all his anxiousness.

They got our paperwork, filled out quick fast in a hurry and got us on the waiting list to be approved for anesthesia. We showed up that morning. Staff from smiles and anesthesia. Group were absolutely fantastic with my son . They have headphones and TVs super kid friendly

Update: Due to their response, that I could request to stay with my child, to my original review, we postponed treatment until we course turn for one more cleaning visit. Their new policy is now posted at the check in desk, with the disclaimer that they'll get the parent if there is a problem. I spoke with Dr. Britton today and he advised me to transfer care because they would not be making exceptions. He added that he has so many patients that he can't get them all scheduled as it is, so there would be no hard feelings if I leave their care. Original review: We have been using Tennessee Smiles for a while now. The staff is great.

The facility is great. We have loved them so much. But. . . They recently made a policy change that is unacceptable for me. We chose them because of rave recommendations and because parents were allowed to stay with their children during all appointments.

Staying with my child is very important to me. The recent policy change now restricts parents from staying in the room with their child for procedures other than cleanings. If this is important to you, let them know. But go elsewhere unless they retract the policy.

We have used them for 6 years and have always have had a great experience. My daughter has level two autism and has been regressing in Hygiene areas teeth brushing, hair brushing, potting, washing her hair and so on. All this is VERY HARD TO DO. Take 2 to 3 people sometimes and she will hurt us. When I got my reminder call yesterday I let them know she had a canker sore on her lip and I wasn’t sure how the appt would go. We get there today and she isn’t handling it well at all. She is saying it hurts.

She wasn’t talking about the cleaning she was talking about the sore. And was dismissed told it didn’t hurt. This went and few times til my daughter was agitated. She was stimming the whole time as well. Which she is usually calm here. My daughter didn’t want X-rays either. I’m assuming bc she was already upset and just not cooperating.

The dentist came over and begins to make me feeling like a terrible parent and I just need to get it done! “Brushing her teeth is more important than brushing her hair” he said. So I called to make sure they had note of her autism and the canker sore. No note of her canker sore! And no note of the autism until today! The lady in the phone was polite when I wanted to cancel all of our appointments and wanted to rectify the situation which I was willing to overhear and consider. Because we’ve always had good experiences here until today. But after her speaking to the dentist, he decided it best for us to cancel all our appointments because we wouldn’t be comfortable again. Didn’t even want to rectify anything. Which is very unprofessional
