The place charged me a bill without telling me prior to the procedure that the insurance will not pay for it. They wanted an immediate payment or take a copy of my credit card. I never seen a place offering dental services acting in such a horrible way.

You know when people are asked to do something they really don't want to do and reply "I'd rather have a Root Canal"? Well that was my impression of root canals. Horrible, terrible, painful, scary, etc. Maybe they were in the past? I recently had a root canal completed by Dr. Dearing and while it wasn't painless - it was no worse than a filling. I think the worse part of my experience was the video I was required to watch prior to the root canal (probably from the 90's!) The office was clean, the staff were friendly and handled my insurance appropriately. His assistant during the procedure was efficient and kind.

Dr. Dearing explained what he was doing and calmed my nerves. The procedure was fast though not rushed and I felt as if my time was important. I had my follow up visit and it was also quick and my impression of the staff is the same. Overall, if you have to get a root canal in Middletown this is where I would go!

I have had 2 very difficult root canals performed by Dr Dearing. He was very professional and thorough. I will definitely return if I need another. His staff was very kind and informative as well. I have been to 4 other endodontic centers but he is the best!
