“UNPROFESSIONAL MUCH” i would give this a zero if i could… honestly , so recently my mom had switch me over to this dentist i thought it was okay until the things i heard about from my sisters, while i was getting my teeth cleaned she wasn’t bad the lady who i had or the receptionist ( they were kind) as i was going in the back the lady doing my sister 5 was wonderful with her but as soon as the dentist came it all came to bad. . the dentist started asking me these kinda of weird questions (even to my mom) it’s like they needed to know my whole life in one sitting. I didn’t liked this at all and felt very uncomfortable. Anyways while my sister who is 5 was getting her stuff done the dentist had kept telling her they could understand her due to speech( which i understand but that’s ridiculous, she’s a kid) then they came over to ask me if my mom put my sister who was 5 in speech therapy ( why do u need to know that , hello, are you my mom??), like i don’t like that stuff and i don’t think that’s professional at all.

. After that it was okay they were good with my sisters , but then started telling my mom how much dental work my sisters need well my littles one , leaving us upset, and not really being very kind about this , making it seem like she was the problem of it. After all the appointments my sister who was 10 was next and the girl i had , had told her she had “nacho cheese teeth” that’s not okay to say to a little girl at all, then since she was adopted , they asked her if she had her own room and how much she showers . After this me and sisters begged to not go ever again , this was ridiculous, why so rude when new customers, the dentist was not okay… I felt so bad for my family this was the worst possible place we could have gone to i felt like that, and all this “just to get a reply that says sorry for the inconvenience” , JUST PAY ATTENTION TO THE ACTUALLY PEOPLE AND STOP ALWAYS SAYING THE SAME THING, AT LEAST TRY TO UNDERSTAND THEM. this is a call out to those who are wanting to go here please don’t , read this before , and if this gets taken down i will sure not be very proud of this and will continue until we get a direct apology for my family due to all the rudeness and the inconvenience from the staff, but i wish this could been reported.

. But then there was more , they began to ask me why i was so much older then my sisters and just kept asking , so i told them why , they began going on about how my other sister had different insurance , so we told her she was adopted… After that the doctor questioned how old was she when we got her( and mind this was right infront of her) , they were mostly targeting the 10 year old sister who was adopted , because they thought we were treating her bad this was ridiculous left my sisters traumatized and never wanting to go to a dentist ever again. . This makes me so upset to the extent where i wish they hasent have this place in the beginning.

My kids have been going here for years. They did great with them for a while. That was up until recently. My daughter had a tooth pulled at a different location and it was a bit traumatic for her. So her next appointment she was nervous to get any cavities worked one. The dental center in Plymouth suggested putting sealants on her cavities and coming back 6 months later for a cleaning and new treatment plan to give her time to calm down. I asked if that would work or if they would get worse. They assured me it would be ok. Well flash forward and my daughter starts to have severe pain in a tooth.

I take her in and they say it needs extracted. So the cavity got worse when they said it wouldn't, to the point it needs pulled even. After suffering with tooth pain for over a week, they refused to pull it because she had a cough. I begged them to do something because she couldn't sleep at night. They said we will get her in as soon as we can. That night she was in excruciating pain. It was radiating to her ear. The next day they were closed of course, so I called many different dentists. They couldn't get her in quickly.

I finally called Afdent in Mishawaka and they gladly took her. She had to have 7 shots to pull a baby tooth because of how bad this tooth was. I paid over $400 when she has insurance. I'm so upset with this dentist and do not recommend them to anyone. Even if you have to travel it's worth it to go somewhere else. They let my 9 year old suffer.

We haven't had great experiences recently. A cavity appt has been rescheduled three times within a week. It's extremely frustrating and challenging to coordinate child care/work schedule etc. I clearly vocalized my frustration with the receptionist and told her I would be finding a new dentist if they rescheduled again.

Edit: Replying to me, telling me to contact the manager with my concerns after I have placed a review AND notified your staff, would be a little excessive on my part. It seems maybe your company or manager should take a little initiative to rectify situations or reach out directly instead of copying and pasting the exact same response to everyone who leaves a poor review.

At first I wasn't going to leave any feedback, but after reading some negative comments I changed my mind. I give this whole staff 5 stars! They have been very easy to schedule appointments with. The hygienist is so friendly and helpful. My grandson loves the Dentist! He's needed a lot of work and dealt with other Dentists that weren't so gentle. The Dental Center of Plymouth is the best!
