Our experienced dental professionals are dedicated to providing you with the highest quality care.
I have had multiple visits with Dr. Shock over the past few years and everything has gone well. NormalIy I am squeamish and nervous about being in the dental chair but Dr. Shock is so skilled and professional that I can relax, even when he's doing major drilling.
The staff is always upfront with charges and gives you a treatment estimate ahead of time so that you know what to expect. All of his staff are kind and considerate and my overall experiences with this provider have been good ones. Would definitely recommend.

**READ THE REAL PRIOR REVIEWS ** THIS BUSINESS HAS FALSE 5 STAR REVIEWS***** The experience I had here was horrible. I wish I could give it zero stars, but I’m trying to warn others. I should’ve written my review as soon as this happened. From the billing of services NOT rendered to my dental insurer to Patrick gaslighting me when I told him that I could feel everything when my root canal began. He seemed to take pleasure that I was in pain. After letting him know that I could still feel everything he was angry very angry. Where do I begin? With Patrick Shock being extremely aggressive in my mouth, I choked 3 times as the suction device was placed so far in my throat it caused me remove it and place it in a proper place to the side of my mouth. There was blood everywhere and there should not have been.
This is not my first root canal. My gums were cut from his level of aggression and force in my mouth. He cut the top part of my gum. A space that was nowhere near the tooth he was working on . After the most painful experience that was seemingly intentional Patrick looked at me smirked and said “was that the best root canal you ever had?” After billing my insurance company for services that I never received Asked for I was continually harassed by his office via a text message and email. I would steer clear of this place and would not send my worst enemy here. These reviews have got to be fluffed because the treatment that I received was horrendous. My gums were swollen and damaged for two weeks because of the sheer force and aggression.
Patrick used. The dental work that was remaining and left in my mouth as I waited for my crown was so sloppy. There was a sharp item left in my mouth that is from the dental adhesive. I could go on for days, but I’m saving you from going here. I never went back because I was so frightened of how Patrick would behave, I actually asked could I have my crown to take it to another dentist and they refused even though I had already been bill placement of the crown that I never received among other random miscellaneous charges. Just know that my insurance company has taken the proper steps And my entire experience Was documented and I was also reimbursed For the charges that Patrick bill for that he never Performed.

Choosing Dr. Shock as my dentist was one of the WORSE decisions I`ve ever made, and for the rest of my life I will have to deal with the issues caused by this terrible professional. Initially Dr. Shock will blow you away with a great conversation where he will make you believe he is extremely knowledgeable. Then he will make several recommendations, and you will buy it because of the passion he shows. I was about to finish Invisalign when I came to this practice. I had a little bit of discomfort on my lower left and Dr. Shock began with his recommendations. He recommended a root canal retreat (which I later found out is really something most will refer to a specialist in endodontics), he then recommended that I replace a crown that had never given me issues but stated that I probably had decay under. Mind you he took a CT scan and didn’t bother checking for possible decay. Then the crowns did not fit and when I pointed out he literally called me and yelled at me on the phone to later realized that he was completely wrong and had to remake the crowns. He then made them so tight that the discomfort only got worse. He then stated I should replace a few old fillings because I probably had decay under. Once again, he did not check the CT scan.
Right after finishing the process, he said, “yeah, there was no decay but at least you know these fillings are not going to shrink. ” One of the fillings was a little high and when I went back to have it adjusted, he destroyed my bite. I took pictures and showed him, and he literally said: “yeah I don’t know why I did this”. I then started to experience some crazy discomfort on the lower right as well where he adjusted the filling, I went back to him and instead of properly examining Dr. Shock just added filling material to an existing filling. After so much discomfort I decided to go to a different dentist to get a second opinion and had a new CT scan taken only to find out that Dr. Shock cracked three of my teeth. The retreated root canal, the neighboring tooth (because of the tight contact with the crown, and the other molar that he added filling material to it. How do I know he did it? Because my new dentists compared both CT scans and there were no cracks until Dr. Shock completed the unnecessary procedures. I was also told that the Dr. Shock`s fillings were very sloppy and that he did not attempt to recreate a shape of a tooth. Because of Dr. Shock I had to get three implants and spent thousands of dollars.
My wife also had issues with Dr. Shock. He convinced her to replace fillings that were practically new and stated that she probably had decay there, but there wasn’t. He did such a terrible job, that a little over a year later one of her fillings had to have one redone. Not to mention, she paid hundreds of dollars to have a new retainer made and when Dr. Shock delivered it was completely il fitted and he insisted that should have worn it for a few days. Thankfully she refused and requested a new one made otherwise her teeth would have completely shifted. In my opinion, under the first amendment, is that Dr. Sock pushes unnecessary treatments to patients just so can capitalize on it. Also, he is very unpleasant and once you question him it becomes very clear that this is a professional with a huge ego and anger problem. SAVE YOUR TEETH PLYMOUTH MEETING AND AVOID THIS DENTIST AT ALL COST.
