Honestly this place is amazing, the staff was super friendly and helpful!! Once I found this place after calling 15 different places, I was jumping with joy because it is hard to find a pediatric dentist that takes state insurance like UCare!!!! I 100% recommend you bring your kids here!!

I've heard scary stories about Medicaid dentists but never seen it in real life until this place. I was shocked. I definitely don't recommend anyone go here even if you are poor

I had a stroke a week ago and subsequent tests showed a 95% blockage of my left carotid artery. I had surgery on 3/9/25 where they used a bovine patch on the artery. I have several decayed teeth and was told I had to have them removed to prevent infection of the patch ASAP or the patch would fail causing a massive brain bleed that would cause my death. I had a referral per their requirement that even told them of the urgency.

I explained all of this this to the scheduler who didn't care about my situation and said the soonest they could get me in for just a consultation would be in June and the procedure would be even later! I was able to get an appt with Pro Dental in Blaine for this Thursday. I would never go to The Dental Specialists as they don't really care about people.

Front desk was very friendly. Dr McKenzie and his assistant explained the procedure thoroughly. They hardly talked throughout-she always knew exactly what he needed. I was so comfortable that I almost dozed a few times. I don't know what the negative reviews are about. Maybe they have new staff. Don't hesitate to have work done here.
