The staff was excellent. The receptionist confirmed my coverage by contacting my insurance company- no surprises. The dental hygienist, Jennifer, was wonderful. I had a cavity and Dr Sciortino-King filled it the same day as my cleaning. Friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend!

Had an extremely pleasant experience with this office! Very easy to book an appointment and every person at the office is so kind, patient and caring. Doctor and hygienist were both very attentive to addressing any dental concerns we had and took the time to answer all questions thoroughly, and not once did they ever make us feel rushed or like a burden.

Absolutely coming back here again as we’ve found our new office!

I have been coming to this place for a very long time and never had any issue. However post COVID they have hired some very incompetent Dentists at this location. What was supposed to be a regular filling ended up giving me nightmares. Dr Patricia Sciortino scraped off my molar without even informing me. She knew last visit during x ray I didn't approve of the suggested procedure yet she did it when I went back due to my prior filling which was done more than 10 years ago came off. When I went in I told her I just need that filling and yet she did what she wanted to do to my tooth without even letting me know/ explaining the procedure. After two days the filling came off from the side of the tooth (where she scraped if off) and she gave all sorts of explanation.

I felt like I was at her mercy, after weeks of discomfort it has fallen off again after her doing it twice. I never approved of her scraping my tooth off and now I have this gap. She never explained to me what she was doing and this was the risk. It is not working!! Despite paying hefty sum for a procedure I wasn't fully explained I now have a big gap in my tooth and discomfort to eat/ drink. I would avoid Syosset location for this reason. As doctors and as medical facility providing service please learn some empathy towards your patient. If patient stop coming you wont have a business.

It is true my tooth will never come back but you can avoid going here because you never know what kind of incompetent dentist you will end up with at this location. The hygienist here have always been great. If this continues this business will stop. I will be taking legal action against this location.

My daughter had recommended this practice to me and I’m glad she did. My hygienist, Jen, is gentle and thorough. Cleanings are a breeze and I no longer request nitrous for my anxiety or discomfort. Dr.

Elstein is very calming and helped me prioritize what dental work to pursue out of the office (extractions and a root canal) and she did a great job with the crown. The office offers very reasonable payment option plans for those of us with weak insurance. Check them out if you’re looking for attentive and gentle care.
