I initially went to doc for a second opinion after another provider indicated I needed Invisalign. They indicated I risked having my front bottom teeth crumble if I did not get this done. That visit was a very jarring experience for me as I had never had any serious dental concerns or to be advised my teeth placement was incorrect. Following that visit, I became very skeptical of any “necessary” work and nervous about going back to the dentist. Dr.

Chung had requested my X-rays from this previous appointment ahead of time and they did not provide them in a readable format. His dental assistant told me that they would need to do x-rays; Doc and his assistant (unfortunately) became on the receiving end of my concern and frustration that I would be paying to have these X-rays done since my insurance had already been billed from the other provider. They both sympathized where my concern came from. Dr. Chung promised he would do the minimum X-rays needed and I would not be paying for this 2nd round of x-rays as it was his practice and he would eat the cost in necessary.

I never received a charge for those X-rays and his visit saved me $3000-4000 of dental work that was deemed necessary by another provider. He and his staff are warm, kind, and honest. Everytime I am there the other patients (and staff) are jovial—which is quite an oxymoronic statement for a dentist’s office but that must just be the Dr. Chung effect!
