I recently had to have some extensive dental work done here and couldn’t be happier. From the first appointment I was very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail shown by not only Dr. Grill but the office staff as well. I needed numerous appointments to complete the reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry from a childhood injury. The staff was extremely effective and helpful in scheduling my appointments not only with Dr. Grill but with Dr.

Karl Zeren. My case was a difficult one needing appointments for both offices sometimes on the same day process was executed flawlessly. Both Dr. Grill and Dr. Zeren teach at Johns Hopkins hospital but we’re able to make the schedule work even if they had to stay late to complete the reconstruction work. The constant communication between the offices and attention to detail made the process (not painless it is dental surgery) but efficient and effective.

The level of care I received was commensurate with what you would expect from highly trained dental professionals. I guess I am lucky enough to be able to pay for the services that I needed at the time. I recommend both Dr. Grill and Dr. Zeren wholeheartedly 😀

Dr Grill has been amazing from the beginning. He is clearly very passionate about the work he does and that comes through in the way he approaches patients. My now 15 year old daughter has been his patient for over a year and not only is he a fantastic clinician, his patient interactions are wonderful. He is kind, informative, and complimentary - he is clear and honest and friendly. He directs his information to my daughter as well as me so she feels like an integral part of her care.

Her situation is complex and could feel even more overwhelming but he somehow makes it feel manageable. She is improving and we are super pleased with her progress. This is 4 stars instead of 5 for some issues I had around billing and communication with the office manager which were resolved with Dr. Grill's assistance.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Grill. He isn't interested in explaining things. He talks too fast, uses lots of medical jargon and got angry when I asked questions. If you go to him, be prepared to hand over your life savings.

He charged $300 for an initial consult and then wanted $1400 for two further "evaluations. " So you will be paying nearly $2000 before you get any kind of treatment for your pain. You're not his patient. You are his ATM.
