Doctor John is an outstanding doctor and even a better person. Super honest and sharp. He tackles the tricky conditions because he has the experience and resources to solve them. He understands the body so well, he is so much more than just a dentist. Great staff, my favorite clinic to visit.

I came to see Dr. John in March after my dentist recommended him for a suspected TMJ issue. I was impressed from the beginning, but because the office was a 45 minute drive from my house, I chose to go to a local "specialist" for my jaw joint pain. I mean aren't all specialists pretty much the same? This local specialist had amazing ratings and came highly recommended by many friends of mine, so how could I go wrong? This turned out to be the worst decision I ever made regarding my health. After a five-minute exam (which was really just an x-ray and a brief general discussion of TMJ) I was prescribed the same generic treatment everyone seems to get and sent on my way. Six months later, I felt worse than I ever, and was told "well, it's just how you're made. " Really?!!!! That is an actual quite from the specialist I saw!!!!!!! That was when I knew it was time to go back to Dr. John.

Upon going back, I was given a complete exam lasting over an hour, specialized to me and my unique issues. But it didn't stop there. Dr John kept examining me until he got to the root of my individual problem and how to treat ME. Everything Dr. John did was completely personalized, a total 180 from the one-size-fits-all treatment I had been getting. Even more, Dr. John focuses on the complete health of the patient (he found several things that seemed totally unrelated that no one else ever mentioned and explained how these things contributed to my pain). After just one visit and a few prescribed treatments, I can honestly say I am feeling better- the difference is amazing.

All this before even starting the main treatment program!!!!!!! From the waiting room to the exam room to booking appointments, this is the best health care experience I have ever had. I'm not exaggerating when I say Dr. John did more for me in in an hour than most do in a year. If you are experiencing any Jaw, facial, or head pain, I have ZERO doubt Dr. John and his team will be the best decision you will ever make for your recovery.

I started my TMJ journey 10 years ago I’ve seen several tmj specialists over the years with barely any success. I moved to the area and decided to try one more TMJ specialist and that’s when I found Dr. John. Here couple years later I’ve been able to ween myself off of my tmj guard with great success 10/10 definitely would recommend.

I have had sore facial muscles for years, along with migraines and headaches daily. I was in a hard bite splint for a year or more with no relief. I was taking ibuprofen daily sometimes twice a day.

I finally came to Today's Headache and facial pain Institute. LIFE CHANGING!!! I have been using their recommended nylon appliance while sleeping and have not had a headache since 2 days in. I have not had to take pain medication for almost 2 weeks!!! They are life savers!
