I want to preface by saying I know things happen and they probably mean well. I truly believe in their holistic approach and was very excited to have my family seen here. They don't make it very easy to get scheduled. I called several times (different days and times) and couldn't reach anyone so I filled out the form on their site. I finally got a response several days later by email but then the person helping me was out of the office for a week. I sent a follow up email and finally received a call by someone else. It took 3 weeks from the time I first started calling until I was able to actually speak with someone and get scheduled. We waited over 7 weeks from the time we scheduled and then traveled 90 minutes one-way for this appointment. Unfortunately our experience was a bit rough. This was my son's first regular visit to the dentist. He is 3.

He had a LOT of nerves and anxiety leading up to this visit. We were 15 minutes early. We were told someone would be right with us. Then we sat in the waiting room for 35 more minutes past the start of our scheduled appointment, 55 minutes in total. With a 3 year old and 9 month old baby. They don't have any toys available in the waiting room. The tiny "play cave" had a few steps to sit on and a TV that had nothing playing. We weren't told anything by anyone until we had been sitting there for 50 minutes trying to keep our young children content. There were a handful of employees just standing around chatting behind the front desk. We were the only patients in the waiting room. The lady at the front desk eventually came and offered to put a show on after 50 minutes, because it was going to be a few more minutes of waiting.

So we finally get back to the room after wrangling our children for an hour. My son did well in the chair and everyone was kind to him which I was grateful for, but 15-20 more minutes of waiting for the doctor to come after his cleaning, and my kids were over it. I was overwhelmed by this point and both my kids were fussy and just ready to get out of there. I honestly didn't get to ask the questions I wanted to because my son was trying to escape out of the room and my baby was hungry and tired. My son has severe problems, needs 2 extractions and a few filings (he has enamel hypoplasia). So we had lots of questions but our kids weren't going to sit any longer through that conversation. It would have been nice to be given a heads up that they were running so far behind. We could have gone to a park or something. The office was also 75-80 degrees, way too warm. We ended up cancelling the appointments we had scheduled for my husband and myself and our family will be searching for a different dentist unfortunately.

Camille took care of my cleaning and set up my next appointment. She also recommended a functional doctor. It was a fantastic appointment and I am so grateful she went above and beyond for me through reviewing my file and making sure it was up to date.
