Please take the time to read my review if you care about your health. So I had a cracked tooth and I needed it took out because it was bothering me too much, it was too cracked to be able to save and I told him that. When I say him I mean the only dentist in the whole office that will jump from person to person because he’s too cheap and greedy to get someone else so he can actually properly work on a customer without running around rushing. Well what did he do? After telling him multiple multiple times that I DID NOT want it anymore in my mouth he forced me to save said tooth. Today I went to total smiles in Oxford and guess what I was told he put the filling right on top of the nerve on my tooth. He wasn’t supposed to have “saved” it. There was nothing to save, and because of that I had a very painful pregnancy with my second as I went to him when I was pregnant with my first.

It started with swelling in the roof of my mouth to the point I couldn’t eat without pain. I didn’t know what the swelling at first and chalked it up to sinus. It was not sinus it was an abscess under the skin in the roof of my mouth. Eventually after intense pain it would drain and the pus was disgusting. Eventually I had a tooth boil in the front of my mouth too and before today I was getting boils and abscesses in the front and back of said tooth. I’ve been in so much pain and to know that this whole time knowing that if he had just listened to me the first time I wouldn’t have had to go through all this royally pisses me off, and that’s not all. When he did the filling in the first place it was too big for my mouth so I had a super uncomfortable bite and he didn’t care to fix it after continuously going up there begging to file it down.

He doesn’t care, he just wants money from people with Medicaid. He doesn’t care about you or your health. Just his money. He’s lucky my man didn’t go up there and whoop his tail. Now I’m on antibiotics and will be getting it removed. Save your time and health please.

Dr. Campbell and the staff are a dream to work with! Having to find a new dentist that takes my insurance was part 1 of the battle. Going to the dentist in general terrifies me, so after making the appointment and going was part 2 of the battle.

But every appointment has been great! Granted it's something id rather avoid all together, having to get dental work, Dr. Campbell and the entire staff are hands down just the nicest folks! Caring, compassionate, and pleasant.

I’ve always been afraid of the dentist… every time I went to other offices, I would be absolutely terrified. But once I started going to Total Smiles in Roxboro NC, it completely changed my point of view. I absolutely LOVE the staff there, from the very sweet recipients to Wendy, Courtney, and Dr. Campbell.

They’re so nice every single time I go, and they do their best to help in any way possible. I love them so much and due to their kindness, I now look forward to my upcoming dental appointments! I’m so happy that I found such an amazing dental office with amazing staff. I’m so grateful!!!

I had a great experience was worried about how I would feel about the facility because of it being in our small town, BUT the hygienist I had was new. I would have never known if she wouldn’t have told me she appreciated my patience and also I was pleased with how nice everyone was to each other and how professional everything was! I did have a full panel X-ray, a cleaning , Dr exam. (Hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years.

) She was worried about the time frame for the next patient and me but she got everything done and the doctor even told her no stress usually doctors are not so nice but Dr Campbell was so nice. I am proud to say I will be back.
