I had a good experience with my braces at Trapnell. The staff is very friendly and the whole process of getting my braces, having them, and getting them off was simple and effective. I’m very happy with my new smile! The only reason why I give 3 stars is because of my final appointment. They ask you to come back 6 months or so after getting your retainers so that they can make sure your retainers are fitted properly, etc.

I was hesitant about this appointment because I wasn’t going to be living in the area anymore after 6 months of getting my retainers. Regardless, I wanted to make sure everything with my teeth looked good after using my retainers, so I agreed to the appointment. I showed up for my appointment, waited in an office for over an hour, then asked how long these appointments usually are. It turns out that the orthodontist left and one of his assistants then came in and asked me two questions about my retainers and then said I was good to go.

It was unfortunate and inconvenient for me to drive 200 miles to be asked some questions that could have been asked over the phone. I would expect that someone would look at my teeth for the final appointment, but I’m not sure what the normal is. Regardless of this disappointing experience, they do good work and I recommend this orthodontist office.

I have been coming to Dr. Trapnell since I got my first set of braces at 19! I am now 27 and have been coming to them for years for any of my ortho needs. They have taken care of broken retainers, broken wires, and any questions I have and always do it with zero judgement and have the friendliest staff to help!

With my children, I've been through three sets of braces at this office over the past 6+ years. They are excellent at explaining needs, they are easy to contact, the staff are always helpful and kind, they are efficient during the time we spend in the office and if they aren't right on time for appts I've never had to wait more than 10 extra min, and the outcomes have been really great.

They have great incentives for brushing and my children have all has a great experience here. Thanks!!!
