Detailed Introduction

Tri-State Family Dental Centers (TSFDC) is a well-established and locally owned group dental practice that has been serving the Tri-State area for over 50 years. They are dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages in a compassionate and comfortable environment. TSFDC operates two facilities in Evansville, Indiana, located on both the East and North sides of the city, and are open Monday through Friday. This multi-location approach, coupled with their group practice model, ensures that patients have access to care, including emergency appointments, with any of their dentists, while also allowing for continuity of care with a specific doctor if preferred. Their extensive range of services covers various aspects of dentistry, aiming to treat patients in one office to minimize the need for referrals to other specialists. Key services include: General Dentistry: Routine check-ups, cleanings, and preventative care for both adults and children. Cosmetic Dentistry: Procedures like teeth whitening, veneers, dental bonding, Invisalign, and smile makeovers to enhance the aesthetic appeal of a patient's smile. They also offer cosmetic injectables like Botox for facial aesthetics. Restorative Dentistry: Treatments to repair and restore damaged or missing teeth, such as dental fillings (including tooth-colored composite fillings), crowns, bridges, dental implants and implant restoration, dentures (full and partial) and denture repair, and endodontic treatments (root canals). Emergency Dental Care: Prompt and effective treatment for urgent oral health issues like severe toothaches, broken or knocked-out teeth, and damaged restorations, with a focus on same-day appointments whenever possible. Tri-State Family Dental Centers prides itself on its patient-centric approach. They emphasize clear communication, ensuring all available treatment options are explained and that the final decision rests with the patient. They also strive to make dental care affordable by accepting most major insurance plans and assisting with claim filing, often only requiring the estimated patient portion at the time of service. Patient testimonials frequently highlight the professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency of the staff, as well as the gentle and skilled care provided by their dentists.

My daughter broke her tooth at school. She would be a new patient at TriState, but that didn't stop them from getting her scheduled that same day. They did everything needed in that one appointment. Her tooth looks great. This was only dentist that would see her same day since she was new. I was glad she didn't need to be in pain all night. Thank you TriState.

I see Dr. Conrad and Tessa, and they're both amazing! I don't plan on ever leaving this office. The staff have always been kind and friendly. They are honest and upfront about costs related to dental work which I appreciate very much!

I am needing a root canal done, have the appointment set up but they can’t get me in for close to a month. My tooth really started bothering me to the point where I can’t sleep or eat. I called my dentist which is the one on 1st Ave. my dentist was out of the office they wanted me to call Dr. Conrad’s office. I explained to them what was going on and that the pain was so bad I was willing to pull the tooth. Now, I was just in my home office less than 2weeks ago. Dr. Conrad did not want to pull wanted to place me on antibiotics and pain meds.

Ok fine, just make the pain stop. The nurse gets back on the phone and says we can’t give you pain medication because you’re on SSRI’s. Are you serious right now? Half of the population is on some type of head med. I call my regular doctor, he can’t prescribe the medication because he hasn’t seen me for the tooth problem, completely understand this ( I’m a nurse) they, my regular doctor, doesn’t understand why they won’t prescribe me anything by for the pain for at least a few days until the antibiotics kick in. The dentist office then tells me to have my doctor fax a note stating I can have said medications. Guess who's closed until Tuesday? They knew what they were doing. They knew I was in a ton of pain. They don’t care. Their answer to me was go to the hospital.

Are you freaking kidding me? They just lost a ton of business. I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, my daughter goes here and I used to recommend it to everyone. Now I’m in search for a new dentist. Dr. Conrad you should do some continued education on meditation and do some research on people with SSRI’s as well. I guarantee I’m not the only one you’ve disappointed in not being to help.

I went here a few years ago and vowed never to go back after I felt shamed by the hygienist. The staff was rude. I am glad my insurance is not accepted there any longer because I would never go back. My teeth are not even in that bad of shape and I still was made to feel ashamed and scolded.

The only good thing about this location is that they take Care Credit, which is a plus, but I would never go back there. I guarantee nothing has changed. No second chances after being made to feel like dirt.
