I originally went here when my wisdom tooth that was impacted got infected because they were the most immediate appointment I could find so I could get a referral for surgery. Then they scheduled a normal appointment where I got X-rays and they went through them THOROUGHLY with me. They had me get a deep cleaning with laser which that plus my wisdom teeth surgery maxed out my insurance. As soon as my insurance was gone, Dr.

Jawad all of a sudden found 5 more cavities on my X-rays and was trying to fill 8. Then when I asked for a call to understand, she would deflect and not answer my questions as to why she never told me about these cavities when we went over my X-rays. My old dentist in Richmond looked over my X-rays and found ZERO, and said based on them, the deep cleaning was unnecessary. They’ve already scammed me out of $1k for the deep cleaning out of pocket and tried to get another $1.

4k for cavities I don’t have. AVOID AVOID AVOID. They try to upcharge and sell procedures that are not fully necessary, and also refuse to give me my records.

Please do NOT go to this dentist. In short, they told me that I had a super developed perodantal disease that could result in the loss of my teeth within six months to a year. They told me that my only option was to immediately undergo laser treatment to save my teath and kill the disease. They quoted around $2,000 for this "necessary" treatment. With zero symptoms of gum loss or recession, no bleeding, and no loose teeth, I decided to get a second and third opinion on the matter.

Let's just say both of these dentists were dumfounded and shocked when they heard what I had been "diagnosed" with at Tysons Dental. I have zero gum loss or recession and certainly do NOT have any advanced peradontal disease in need of treatment. This is malpractie at best and an obcene ploy to pander money off unsuspecting patients at worst. Do not trust the care at Tysons Dental Esthetics and stay far, far away!
