I love this dentist office and my associate Julia is the best she has a kind and loving personality. And the doctor I can't think of his name but anyway he's so gentle and so kind and so respectful and well mannered I love both of them and I just can't wait to come back for my next visit every time. My husband chose this dentist. And I'm so glad he did 🥰

The ladies at the front desk, Shaq and Jossylun are so hospitable and friendly. I felt welcomed and check in was speedy. Julia took my X-rays and she did a great job of making me feel comfortable. Julia is also very relatable and down to earth.

Ashley was my hygienist today and I explained my issues to her. She made sure to give me a thorough cleaning around my gum line. I’m happy with my service here and will definitely be back! I also greatly appreciate the diverse atmosphere offered here.

05/01: I have been coming to UDA for 10+ years. I made my appointment in office 6 months ago. I was not aware nor notified of their policy of new insurance must be provided within 48 hours or appointments are automatically rescheduled. I confirmed with the manager Shaq that I was not notified of the policy and they informed me that the policy has been posted in the lobby for 3 years. I have had the same insurance the last 2-3 years therefore I didn’t need to review policies posted in the lobby. I recently got a new job therefore insurance changed however providers typically accept your insurance same day so of course I didn’t think anything of it. I asked why my insurance was not verified prior to the appointment and Shaq informed me that she verifies all insurance prior to appointments however my name wasn’t on the list. Mind you she checked me in for my appointment under my old insurance that’s very much inactive so not sure how that happens? Clearly UDA dropped the ball on this situation because I was not notified of the policy change and somehow fell through the cracks of being on the list to verify insurance.

The conversation ended with Shaq telling me that she is not going to go back and forth with me and it’s patient responsibility to provide insurance. Apparently insurance takes hours to verify which I have never heard that before. Shaq was passive aggressive and I will not be returning to this location. There is a location less than a mile from me but I didn’t want to change because the staff were very nice and polite to me. While I was in office, my appointment was rescheduled since my insurance was not provided within 24 hours. After reflecting, I decided to cancel the appointment as I did not like my experience with Shaq. I called another location and I was informed that I was dismissed due to threatening behavior. I did not realize asking questions was threatening behavior.

I cannot make an appointment at any location because Shaq is upset that I wrote a review (I confirmed with Shaq). If I was threatening then why wasn’t the police called and why was my appointment rescheduled. It is ridiculous that someone can lie and say I was threatening by asking questions. I never cussed, raised my voice, made a threat, etc so I am unsure of how that is threatening. Thank you UDA for 10+ years of service. I have never had a bad experience until today and now I am dismissed. I hope you all hire new staff who are equipped with better customer service.
