Dr. Rawan Sarsour is a highly qualified and board-certified pediatric dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Jordan's Dental School in 2012. Driven by a passion for working with children, she pursued further education, completing an Advanced Education of General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Connecticut. She then undertook a pediatric dental residency and a fellowship, also at the University of Connecticut. During her time there, she also obtained a Master of Dental Science degree, with a specific focus on the management of children with cleft lip and palate. Following her extensive training, Dr. Sarsour was appointed as a full-time Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Dentistry department at the University of Connecticut. She also serves as a key member of the craniofacial team at Connecticut Children's Hospital. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the College of Diplomates of Pediatric Dentistry. With a personal philosophy of treating every child as her own, she is dedicated to creating a positive and anxiety-free experience for her young patients. Her practice is located at 263 Farmington Ave, Farmington, CT, within the University of Connecticut's facilities.
