I got horrible strep throat 2 days after my first visit. I haven’t had strep throat since I was a child. I’ve never had anything like that happen before from a dentist and when I called the front desk to let them know they just kinda acted like I didn’t need to call and tell them that…. That was enough to make me find a new dentist office.

If I could select a Zero I would. I have went to the minster location about 3-4 times and never felt heard. The dentist there rushes you and don’t completely listen to your concerns. He interrupts your sentences and his bedside manners are poor.

I had a filling done the first time and the dental assistant didn’t floss between my teeth so when I went to floss it got stuck and I ended up pulling out my filling less than a month later. The next filling I received my tooth was drilled down so much it cracked the side of my tooth and when I went to explain it to the dental assistant she tapped the chair and told me to “just lay back so we can get started”. My main concern was do I go to the merrillville location so they can fix the problem and possibly get charged twice or go back to the same people so they can do it correctly and possibly not get charged twice. Safe to say I’ll NEVER go back to the Munster location

Had to have two teeth pulled, pretty urgently. They were broken and painful. Made an appointment same day, was in and out within a reasonable time and the staff was kind. I was well numbed, and treated well, didn’t feel a thing!

I've suffered from a chipped tooth on my front tooth since I was a little kid. A couple days ago my nightmare came true when my filing ended up falling off due to it being more than 7 years old. The office got me in the next day to see what was going on and unfortunately, once they did the X-ray, it came to show that I needed to have a root canal done before I could get my filing. They scheduled me for that Saturday and while I was anxious I just couldn't wait to get it over and done with.

Even with not knowing what to expect besides the stories people tell. Well, I've been home for about an hour and I am highly impressed with Dr. S and his assistant. He told me every step he was doing and kept asking if I was okay; I literally felt NO PAIN during and even now after.

I will definitely be recommending UrgentDent to anyone who is needing emergency work done. Thank you so much for making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process, that means a lot coming from someone who has anxiety about the dentist.
