Detailed Introduction

The UW Dentistry Faculty Practice, also known as the Campus Dental Center and formerly Advanced General Dentistry, is a comprehensive dental clinic located at 1959 NE Pacific St D-453, Seattle, WA 98195, affiliated with the University of Washington School of Dentistry. This clinic distinguishes itself by providing high-quality dental care delivered by highly skilled and experienced faculty dentists of the University of Washington. Unlike teaching clinics where students perform procedures under supervision, patients at the Faculty Practice are treated directly by licensed and often board-certified practitioners and specialists. The practice offers a broad spectrum of dental services, encompassing general dentistry (exams, cleanings, fillings, X-rays), advanced restorative procedures (crowns, bridges, dentures, implants), and esthetic dentistry. They are equipped to handle complex cases and are known for their integrated approach, meaning patients can receive comprehensive care across various specialties without needing external referrals, saving time and ensuring coordinated treatment. A notable aspect of the UW Dentistry Faculty Practice is its approach to patients with dental fears or anxiety. While a dedicated "Dental Fears Research Clinic" may have previously existed and closed, the Faculty Practice itself offers solutions like nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oral sedatives to help anxious patients relax during their appointments. They emphasize patient education, believing that understanding procedures can help alleviate apprehension. The clinic operates from Monday to Thursday, 8:15 am to 4:45 pm, and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (206) 685-8258. The cost of care is competitive with local private dental practices. As part of a university system, they are committed to providing advanced care using modern dental technology. Their team comprises a roster of expert dentists, fostering a collaborative environment to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

It’s very difficult to get an appointment and trying to get some help, I have trying for over a week to talk with someone in scheduling, I have called four times and left messages a have not gotten a return call. We were seen in the facility clinic and the dentist we had left, the person who was making appointments also left, we have trying for many months to get something done for my wife, she has not been able to get any dental Trey.

It's the worst, call, message you never hear back. Why even provide and have faculty practice, common courtesy is so lacking and surprising from a university faculty practice.

Jasmine has failed to call me back 100% of the times she told me she would. When I brought this up, she told me that she was returning my voicemail that I left a whole week after she claimed she would call me back and *she* counts that as a win, then she tried to guilt trip me about the "cancer patients with cancer" they see there.

You can really tell where they sit on the empath/narcissist scale at this place. They strung me along for MONTHS acting like something would happen with my referral, at one point directly indicating it would only be a week before i could get set up, before finally returning a voicemail to tell me they're """nO lOnGeR aCcEpTiNg RefErRaLs""" and offering to supposedly maybe call me at an indertiminate time in the future if they started accepting them again.

Screw every single one of you for letting me be in pain for this long without any hint whatsoever that I might need to look somewhere else to get healthcare, but considering the way the office staff have behaved, maybe it’s for the best that I didn’t trust any of your medical staff.

Give’em a BREAK! They have a Quarterly Schedule to work with. They also have urgent care — if it is an emergency GO THROUGH EMERGENCY! Their work has been great for me. Fun staff too 👍 lighten up.
