Detailed Introduction

Valley Health Services/Belmont is a branch of Valley Health Services, a comprehensive healthcare provider located at 4970 Belmont Ave, Youngstown, OH 44505. The organization recently rebranded from Valley Counseling Services, reflecting an expanded commitment to "whole-person care." This transformation, which included a merger with AxessPointe Community Health Centers on January 1, 2024, led to its designation as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). As an FQHC, Valley Health Services is dedicated to making high-quality healthcare accessible to all, regardless of financial status. They achieve this by offering care on a sliding fee scale, allowing individuals to pay based on their income. Additionally, they provide assistance with enrollment in Medicare and Medicaid programs. The services offered at Valley Health Services have significantly expanded. Beyond their long-standing behavioral healthcare and substance use disorder services, they now offer primary medical care, dental services, and pharmacy services. The Belmont Avenue location is slated to introduce primary care in the near future. This integrated approach aims to address various aspects of a patient's health, from mental well-being to physical health and medication needs. Valley Health Services serves the counties of Trumbull, Mahoning, Columbiana, and Geauga, assisting nearly 10,000 patients annually. They are certified by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and the Council on Accreditation.

2 months in a row my appointment has either been counseled or miss written down. Dr Vinci Khoury has been my Dr for almost 25 years. She has pulled me through alot of terrible situations. I sure do miss her since her retirement. This place seems like it really went downhill. Idk if they are switching hands in office wise or what.

Now they tell me my appointment is for late September. How do you let a patient go 6 months without getting meds,or waiting for nurse to call them in. It's sad they don't care about their patients anymore. But I do wish Dr Vinci the best in retirement n God Bless her.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! In the past 3 weeks, I ended up in ER twice. The second time I was kept overnight. Over-medicated which lowered my sodium to dangerous levels!! Could not get in touch with anyone there. Receptionist was snappy and told me to call back and press option 3 and leave message.

I left 3 - all were unanswered. When I finally got nurse, I was told nurse practitioner was off and to go to emergency room if I needed help 🤬. Doctor at hospital was shocked at the amount of meds I was taking for only going there for 4 months.

I was told but my online psychologist that if I needed a increase in my medicine to see a doctor in person, boy did I choose the wrong place, soon as I even started to bring up a increase I seen the judgement in the doctors eyes. God forbid I take a medicine that literally changed my life & when I ask for a increase I get treated like I'm nothing, I told the doctor this one medications helps my bipolar, panic attacks, anxiety, eat, it helps EVERYTHING but getting my thru the whole day because my dose is so low.

The doctor said she couldn't up my dose with no reason other then she lied because the doctor online said there are different guidelines And to get an increase I need to see a doctor in person and I was treated like a junky Had I seen the bad reviews I would've stayed as far away from this judgemental place as possible. I have severe agraphobia, this medicine has changed my life I gotta job after YEARS of not working because I would cry on the way to work I take 1mg in the morning it's out my system by evening I finally found a god job & my life has changed but now I was treated like nobody I'm gonna end up loosing my job and when I told her that she laughed Stay FAR away from this place in my opinion when a medicine WORKS, for EVERYTHING YOU THINK THEY WOULD STICK WITH IT WOW SUCH ROTTON PEOPLE I got up & left she says thanks for wasting my time They're put you on antipsychotics, antidepressants which are WAY worse & more dangerous then a benzo but they're quick to wanna give you that tho.

I ended up in the hospital a few times because those medications make my symptoms 3 X as bad. When I was younger I was on 2Mg Klonopin It WORKED THE WHOLE DAY I ask for an increase & get treated like trash Unbelievable I been hiding in my house for YEARS because of my agraphobia & panic attacks Klonopin finally got me up again Talking to people and a great paying job But I come home meds ware off & I'm back to praying it's morning just so I make it thru because I don't sleep at night I have a rapid fast metabolism after my surgery What 35 year old man weighs 120? But again I found some thinf I been on before that HELPS more then anything & they act like they can't prescribe it They literally are ruining my life treating me this way Where are the professionals at ? Not here that's for sure

I’ve been going to VHS for several years now. It’s been a wonderful experience and the recent changes have made it amazing. Jaime Fazzone Joseph Young and Taylor are the absolute best. I can’t recommend them enough.
