Valley Professionals Community Health Center (VPCHC) is a prominent non-profit organization established in February 2008. It operates as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), meaning it is committed to providing comprehensive, integrated healthcare services to medically underserved and vulnerable populations. Their mission is to ensure access to affordable and quality healthcare for all individuals and families, regardless of their ability to pay, primarily serving communities across several counties in Indiana, including Vermillion, Parke, Vigo, and Montgomery. VPCHC offers a wide range of services designed to address the holistic health needs of their patients. These include primary care for acute and chronic illnesses, preventative care, and wellness exams, as well as comprehensive behavioral health services, including individual and family counseling and psychiatry. Dental care, ranging from preventative to emergency and restorative services, is also a key offering. Additionally, they provide patient resource services with RN Care Managers and Community Resource Navigators to support patients with various needs, such as transportation, health insurance, medication, and food assistance.
