I setup a consultation back in January and got scheduled for 3/29/23. I received confirmation on 3/23/23, the day before the consultation I was asked to arrive at 12:40pm because Dr. Waltz was going to be at the hospital to which I agreed. The morning of I received a call at 7:30 am , the receptionist on the other end of the line proceeded to say Dr. Waltz dies not work with my dentist. This was absolutely the most unprofessional notice I have ever encountered to date, I took off work for this consultation.

Dr. Waltz and my dentist are both in-network for my insurance and the referral was done on Dr. Waltz’s referral form. I relayed this to the receptionist and she went back to saying Dr. Waltz did not work with him, then proceeded to name other dentist I don’t know or trust and she never apologized for the inconvenience or detriment they caused with the delay. I called my dentist office and they did not understand as well , so now they have to contact Dr.

Waltz’s office for an explanation. Needless to say I will request a referral to a different Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, maybe this happened for the best, I would not want to deal with this practice if any post operative issues based on this unprofessional experience. I wouldn’t want any other person to go through this experience hence this post.

He was nice and so was his staff. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I had my back molar pulled. I will definitely go back if my dentist isn't able to do something for me again :).

Jen Myers

Dental work on my 12 year old was good. My only problem was that he is 12 never had any surgery or been under any type of sedation and they wouldn't allow me to go back. Not even when they got his vitals, hooked up to the monitor or started his IV.

He was nervous and uncomfortable going back alone. Was very disappointed that they would not let an adult be with their child while getting them under sedation.

Bobbie Anderson

Husband had a single wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Waltz and attendant were gentle and professional. Front desk was combative and not helpful. Our medical insurance minimally covers x-ray and extraction, but she wasn't willing to verify. She was very rude to another client. Not an enhancement to the practice.
