Dr. Cold physically held my mouth shut while I was having an anxiety attack during a procedure. I had communicated to him and his staff that dental procedures give me anxiety and he at no point told me what he was doing or why he was doing it during my procedure. I still cannot have work done on my teeth because of the trauma this incident has caused, and the only work I've needed since is to correct the fillings that he gave me.

When having an anxiety attack he physically held my mouth shut while I was lying down in the chair and I could not breathe through my nose. Dr. Cold is not a kind medical professional. When I emailed him about this incident he insisted that forcing a patient's mouth shut is standard practice, but my last two dentists have ensured me that this is outdated and harmful practice.

Dr. Cold had my original review removed from his Google page but I believe people should know he is not a gentle practitioner. I'll continue to leave reviews on his page so others with sensitivities to dental procedures can have a fair warning. I recommend finding a better, gentle dentist to anyone looking for dental work

I went in for a cleaning with Melissa. She was fantastic! She is so gentle and so thorough. The Dr. was truly great explained what I needed done in great detail and explained things to me in a way I could understand. Front office staff was truly amazing as well. Everyone here lives up to the name of warm family dentistry ✨💛

I am deeply disappointed with my experience today. I had an appointment at a dental office where I've been a patient since 2021. For convenience, I’ve always used a shorter version of my name, a practice I've maintained since middle school, as very few people are familiar with my longer name. Typically, I pay $40 for my visits, so I was caught off guard when the receptionist informed me that I have to pay nearly $400 today due to my lack of insurance. I immediately questioned why I wasn’t informed about this policy when I scheduled my appointment, but she was unable to provide a satisfactory answer.

Then, she mentioned a monthly payment program where I could pay $40 each month, which allows for three cleanings and a 50% discount on other dental work. I expressed my willingness to enroll in this program, believing it would resolve my concerns. However, she then told me that because I was using a different name, I would have to pay the full fees for four months upfront, a stipulation that had not been communicated to me previously. I had taken time off work to attend this appointment, and I felt that the treatment I received there was unprofessional and, frankly, racially insensitive, especially considering my previous visits had not involved any such issues. I had also referred about six people to this practice based on the promotion they offered, only to find out that the deal might have been intended solely for first-time customers.

There should have been clearer communication when I made the appointment, or at the very least, a phone call to inform me of the costs associated with my insurance status. Overall, the staff was quite rude and dismissive, which added to my frustration. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this dental office to anyone. Their lack of professionalism and poor customer service has left me feeling disappointed and disheartened.
