Dr Cannavo & her staff are wonderful! Lisa is the best hygienist I’ve ever had. Dr Cannavo is awesome. I love that she can do fillings" class="text-blue-600 hover:underline font-medium">Laser Fillings with no shot of Novocain; truly pain-free! I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We have been patients of Dr Cannavo for years and would not trust our care and the care of our children to anyone else. All the staff are wonderful, helpful & go above and beyond at every visit, especially Lisa, who looks after me at each cleaning, knowing I am a baby with sensitive teeth! The dental practice is such a friendly and welcoming space and Dr Cannavo supports her community at every opportunity.

I have always loved going to this practice and was always put at ease and received great care. Going to the dentist is very anxiety provoking for me but I was very comfortable there. The receptionists are always amazing!! Lauren had placed 5 crowns for me over the years with no issue until my 2nd to last placed in November. I had sensitivity when biting, let her know, and my bite was adjusted by her a short time after when I was having another crown placed in December. This was right before she went out of network with Delta. Started with new dentist beginning of year. February I started having awful pain while biting with that crowned tooth from November. New dentist adjusted bite and it got a little better but not 100% Had all sorts of extensive X-rays and a thorough exam that month and the tooth looks good, healthy. Decided to return to Lauren in May out of desperation since she placed the crown and I assumed she would stand behind her work. I pointed out that I can feel an edge between the crown and gum where it's irritated and food is getting stuck.

No offer of adjusting the crown, smoothing the edge or redoing it. She said it was normal but all of my other crowns she did go under the gum line. She looked at it, checked the bite, said the edge was "normal", mentioned it may be cracked underneath (don't know how) gave me a referral to endo and charged me 110. 00! I had to pay that out of pocket which was a set back. I was so utterly disappointed and felt dismissed. I haven't even paid off that crown yet and will have to move forward with the new dentist, a possible new crown or at least pay to have him attempt to resolve the issue. I believe its most likely that gap at the margin, a poor fit. I would like my 110. 00 back out of good faith and would rather put it towards resolving this issue. It's miserable to not be able to chew properly, it was simply bad business in general for 10 min of her time and not stand behind her dentistry.

I feel defeated. In response to theirs: my current records from new dentist were not sent to and reviewed by you to my knowledge. You had suggested I do a another X-ray and declined because id have to pay out of pocket. I was not aware of some coordination of a scan at a specialist office, I was just given a paper referral. I had asked if you could smooth out the ridge i feel that is irritating my gum and possibly the cause of the pain in my tooth but you said it wouldn't have made a difference. I asked your office to forward the photo of my tooth under the crown in which they did. I just wanted my money back as insurance won't cover another exam and I go next week for a new crown. Thank you.
