I have always hated going to the dentist, as a kid I would need to be dragged there. It was torture. . . . until I started going to Washington Dental Associates.

I have been coming here for about 5 years now and I continue coming down from Boston just to go to them. From the second you walk in to the office it is a pleasant experience. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The hand paraffin, cookies and TVs are not what you expect to find in a dentist's office but it makes it that much more enticing to come in and check it out. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now.

I am one of those people who are very nervous and scared when it comes to the dentist. I got work done at Washington Dental Associates and was immediately put at ease. The hygienist Dayana was very friendly, soothing and very thorough. I was seen by Dr. Kang and his assistant Letty. I was very nervous when I first got in his chair but by the middle of the procedure I was relaxed and comfortable enough to almost fall asleep. They were both very good at answering my questions and explaining what they were doing when they were doing it.

Dr. Kang has a very gentle touch. You get to watch TV while you are being worked on which is a nice touch and helps get your mind off of whatever work you're getting done. The front office staff is very nice and welcoming. While I'm not completely over my fear of dentist, I definitely will continue going here and feel 100% comfortable with Dr. Kang working on me.

My 7 year old visited Dr. Tong at Washington Dental Associates today. It was a great experience! Dr. Tong is a natural with children and made my son feel very comfortable and at ease. The rest of the staff were warm and friendly while also professional. Playstation games and fresh baked cookies added to the experience. I definitely recommend this office.

The first time I visited the office I was immediately impressed. The level of professionalism from the staff is not something you see at many offices. The team works to make you feel like you are at apart of the family and extremely comfortable. I needed to have my final two wisdom teeth removed, and this is something I put off for an immensely long time because my last experience was far from pleasant. Honestly I was traumatized, and I would have rather dealt with long term pain of leaving the wisdom teeth IN, then deal with short term pain and removing them. My first visit to the office, everyone reassured me that they would do everything in their power to make me feel comfortable and little to no discomfort. I decided to push my fears aside and go for it! Dr.

Tong is my dentist and he was AMAZING. He held a conversation with me to get my mind off of my nervousness. He reassured me that if I was in too much discomfort he would stop and they would find a way to get it done without me feeling too much pain. All I can say is WOW!!! Dr. Tong is spectacular and truly kept to his words. He was very gentle and highly observant throughout the entire process. He consistently made sure I was ok, and when I did feel a bit of discomfort he readjusted and worked at different angles to take that discomfort away.

Dr. Tong handled my procedure so well, that it didn't even feel as if I had two wisdom teeth removed when I woke up the next morning!! This has taken away my fear of visiting the dentist and having more than just routine work done. I feel safe at Washington Dental and I truly feel that their patients' comfort is their top priority. Anyone who is need of a dentist, or isn't quite happy with their current one should come see the team here!! I guarantee you will find a new home.
